Description: Framed Minnesota 2.0 Fat Bike

The all new Minnesota 2.0 is here to solidify its position as the fat bike industry leader, with a component spec that can't be touched for the price. If this is your introduction to the Framed Minnesota line, be prepared to open your mind to a plethora of new riding possibilities. You'll never look at your favorite singletrack trails the same again. The Minnesota 2.0 is your key to year round riding enjoyment with fat tires for off road adventures as well as fattie slim wheels for versatility when the sun shines bright and you want to slim down your ride. A SRAM X5 2x9 drivetrain keeps this machine churning through the hairiest situations. With two chainrings up front and an 11-32 tooth cassette in the rear you have everything you need to climb the steeps and keep power when hammering downhill. Stopping power is brought to you by Avid BB5 disc brakes. With inboard pad adjustment and easy cable tension adjustment at the brake lever and the caliper this brake system offers easy tuning on the fly to keep you safe and dialed in. After extensive in-house testing, rave reviews, and endless user compliments it became apparent that there was little need to change the overall build of the Minnesota 2.0 from the past generation. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I bought the framed 2.0 bike and this has been the best fun purchase I have made. I bought it almost a year ago and there have been NO problems so I thought I would write a review. The staff was very helpful by phone and I ordered the bike and received it quickly. The bike is made very well, is of great quality overall and hasn't let me down. The bike is a blast in the winter. I tricked out the bike and also have front and rear racks and pannier bags. The bike is great and after I come back from a ride I have a smile from ear to ear!

Can anyone describe the differences between this and the old 2.0?
A shopper on Aug 18, 2016
The new version of the 2.0 will have slightly upgraded rims, an updated manufacturing process, and new color options. They are an outstanding all-around fatbike.
Is there much difference in components and overall value between the 1.0 and 2.0?
Bronson B on Oct 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi Bronson,
The main difference between the two models is the MN 1.0 is a 1x9 and the MN 2.0 is 2x9. The brakes are the same, the frame material is the same, the wheels are the same, and most other parts are the same. The geometries vary slightly and you can see those size variances on our sizing charts.
What is the weight limit for the rider on these bikes?
Heinz S on Feb 21, 2017
Famed states that the limit of the MN series bikes is about 280lbs.
What is the difference between the 2.0 and the 3.0?
Scott K on Feb 18, 2017
For more elaborate details have a chat with our bike shop: 1 (800) 409-7669. Basically the 3.0 offers a tapered head tube and has a more relaxed classic fat bike geometry. The 2.0 will have a trail geometry.
