Well Loui gave it a good run but the fat lady sang her piece. Yup, double elimination this week and Loui and Chelsie got the boot. All’s well any ways I guess, the kid already far exceeded everybody’s expectations, you can’t really ask for much more than that. And for being the first snowboarder to be on Dancing With The Stars, you gotta give him props. That takes some serious balls to stand up against the opposition and haters like that.
And for the most part there was a lot more love than I was expecting to see. Everybody really got behind him and wished him luck, rather than saying what everyone was expecting the comments to say. I’m so proud of him! He gave the snowboard world a face to the older generations that normally would only see a rather bleak outlook on us. Loui has helped snowboarding take a ginormous step forward in gaining respect from the outsiders.
Great job Loui! Now go get after the Olympics!
