Review: Rossignol Scope Snowboard

Davie at the house, talking about the Rossignol Scope snowboard.

This is definitely one of my top sellers. Super good bang for the buck associated with this snowboard. Works good for probably 70% of the riders out there. What you’re looking at is intermediate, all mountain. Middle of the road flex, slightly directional shape, can be ridden out twin for sure.

This one, you’ve got the nice dark kind of affliction associated graphics on this one. Black, kind of with the gold death and dead animal scene going on there. Pretty hot right now.

Base-wise, you got a really cool base on this one. Die cut letters in the gold here, and they actually will sublimate the P-tex behind it and show the wood through that too. I don’t see this done on many other snowboards, only a couple that have come through the shop. Obviously, you can see, we’ve got a tip to tail wood core on this one. Definitely going to be light weight. It’s going to be really poppy. It’s going to maintain it’s flex over time.

From there you’ve got full wrapping metal edge, protects the snowboard really really well. On this one, it is a sintered base too, which is unusual for this price range. Definitely going to be a fast base, ready to rock from the factory. It’s going to hold more wax when you wax it, and it’s going to get faster throughout its life.

Trusted side wall construction, it’s going to hold really good on icy hard pack terrain. It’s going to resist more damage if you’re taking laps around the park, but like I said, it’s a really good, I would say, entry level to intermediate all mountain snowboard. It works for most of the people out there. Good price tag on this one, definitely leaves you a little money for your snowboard boots.

Rossignol Scope snowboard, highly recommend it.
