Run all over NY and find the spots...or just come here because the park's staying open for YOU!

Run all over NY and find the spots...or just come here because the park's staying open for YOU!

The Maloof Money Cup hit the Bronx last weekend and tricks were dropping faster than ke$ha’s album sales on the California Skateparks designed course. Top riders were all in attendance like it was the first day of school and they were treated to fourteen features that were straight ripped off from legit NYC spots…imitation equals flattery indeed.

After the Ams finished annihilating the setup things got even crazier, with none other than Bastien Salabanzi lacing up the ol’ heelflippers and getting back to pushing around. Kid was a ghost for years and then he shows up and takes home 4th place…welcome back! The podium was distinctly void of surprises with Paul Rodriguez and Torey Pudwill taking 2nd and 3rd and looked up at Chris Cole on top. 360 flips, 360 spins, 360 kickflips, and his usual ledge bombs got him the big check as he and the boys tuned up their game for the loaded summer contest circuit. Pudwill took home best trick honors, not the Hugh Grant kind, but the kickflip back lip kind.

Good news for you non-New Yorkers who couldn’t make it out, too. You can check out the whole contest June 27 on Fox at 2:00 EST. Even better news for left coast kids, Maloof Money Cup is coming back to the Orange County Fair on August 8. Get your tickets now for the shot to check out a whole new setup and America’s hottest chicks…if you’re into that sort of thing.
Here’s the how the rest of the NYC finals ended up:

6-Sierra Fellers

7-Ryan Decenzo

8-Peter Ramondetta

9-Greg Lutzka

10-David Gonzalez
