Great shoes for the price
The shoes are comfortable and hold up fairly well. The treads on them give me the traction I need on trails and off. The only problems I've encountered so far are breathability and ankle protection. It can get fairly hot/warm in the shoes especially on Summer days and the ankle support is fairly low. I know I was expecting the ankle support to be more for a mid, but It seems like a hybrid of a low and mid. Great shoe overall.

There's a rumor going around the internet that these boots are made from the hide of a unicorn that was slaughtered using a knife forged in the heart of a dragon. Now I'm not saying that I believe that rumor. But I'm not saying that I don't believe it.

how is the fit on these not sure to go with 11.5 or 11, is it true to size or does it fit tighter, or looser?
Geo K on Aug 6, 2014
Best Answer: They fit true to size. I have a bit wider than average feet and they fit well even still. The only problem I've had was that the breathability is not much and your feet will heat up, but this is common in hiking footwear that aren't high end.

Needing to know if these shoes have removable footbeds (inserts)? This is a must for me, as I need to use custome orthodics in all my shoes.

Thanks!
duke r on Jun 17, 2014
Best Answer: The footbeds are lightly glued in. I believe they could be removed if necessary, but I don't think they were intended to be removed.

Hope that's helpful.
