Roy MStaff: Warmth depends on the rider. I've used these in Minnesota without any issues - and it's cold here. As always, insulated is warmer than pipe gloves but mitts are warmer than insulated gloves...but then again it all depends upon the rider. Nov 22, 2013

brad S: Not necessarily. For gloves they're fairly thin. But if the suns out you can wear them and you'll be fine. If there's a blizzard or anything like that, u may want a thicker pair. Or even just layer gloves under them.
But for a warmer boarding day, they're perfect.

Hunter A: Nope. Their pipe gloves so they are really only for like spring and fall. Theyre really thin so a thicker pair might be better. I like them for warmer weather though. Nov 22, 2013

Noah S: They're okay. Your hands won't freeze and they'll keep the snow out but they are thin! You might want to go with something thicker. Nov 22, 2013

A shopper asked: Are these small/thin enough to use as an under glove? I have a pair of thin mittens that I want to use when I go out to Colorado but they're too thin to use on their own. Nov 30, 2013

Jonah M: I find these gloves as great gloves to use it fairly nice weather however they are quite bulky and I've actually had a pair of thin gloves under these for extra warmth. But I would say they are not thin enough to use as an under glove. Hope this was helpful! Nov 30, 2013

Leslie S: Even though these gloves are pretty thin, I think it would be difficult to put them under another glove. Especially since they have a rubberized palm. I do think they may be able to fit under a mitten. Nov 30, 2013

Pengfei G: They are not thin small as normal glove lining. Unless you have a bigger mittens, these might not be the best choice. Dec 1, 2013
