Description: Marker Baron Ski Bindings

The Marker Barron is a revolutionary binding that blurs the lines between an alpine touring binding, and a traditional alpine binding. The release lever is easily reachable, and quick to swap from hiking mode to downhill mode. New this season are a seven and thirteen degree hiking positions, for faster and easier hiking. The Barron is also the first backcountry binding designed for wider skis for more torsional rigidity. The shortest frame on the market gives your skis a nice even flex, with a smaller dead spot underneath the binding. The backward movement in hiking mode is 40mm, give you better balance, lower swing weight, and easier kick turns. If you will spend some time hiking and skinning, and don''t want a flimsy full blown touring binding, so you can have confidence on the descent that your skis are clamped on use the Marker Barron.

What boot sole do these fit?
George C on Sep 10, 2013
Best Answer: The Marker Baron Ski Binding fits a large range of sole length depending on which size of binding you purchase. The Small Marker Baron fits a Boot Sole Length of 265-325cm and the Large Marker Baron fits a Boot Sole Length of 305-365mm. This is a Alpine Touring binding made for skinning in the side/back country. If you are not going to be doing this I do not recommend these bindings. Unfortunately, this item is out of stock.
