whats the coldest tmperature it can take before feeling cold?
A shopper on Jan 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Depends on what you're wearing underneath... First season with it and it really keeps the heat in good, but if you're below freezing temps you're going to want a substantial layer underneath (I think that's a given regardless with any coat). This coat is on the lighter side if anything which makes it SEEM like it won't keep you warm, but even in high winds it seems to hold up great. Has kept me plenty warm so far. Also has some nice stretchy material on the ends of the sleeves with thumb holes that slide right into your gloves. similar to underarmor but a little more stretchy. Having said all that, if you have a solid layer underneath I'd think it'd hold up fine to around 15 degrees. Being a thinner than average coat, I don't think it's meant for much colder than that anyway, more of a spring / above freezing coat imo. Anything colder than that feels a little cold to me no matter what I'm wearing but I think that's personal opinion more than anything. Hood also fits over most helmets and zipper comes right up past your nose if you want, so you can really trap out the cold on nastier days. Hope that helps!
