It looks like orange? It is really black and red?
A shopper on Jan 15, 2014
Best Answer: It is more orange than red. However, it is a stylish vest and works great, so don't let the colour of a few stripes prevent you from buying this great vest!

I just measure my chest and I came out to almost exactly 36". Sizing chart says 32-36" for small and 36-40" for medium. Which one should I get? I don't want it too tight, but I hate when jackets rise up when you're in the water.
A shopper on Jun 25, 2013
Best Answer: I wouldn't worry about it sliding up on you. I bought the medium (36-40) and I have a 37 inch chest, and it is actually a tight fit. It is very elastic and form fitting. It actually is a hassle to take off cuz its so tight on me. Plus you'll want some room to grow if you plan on using this jacket for a while. My only complaint is that it definitely doesn't lift you up as much in the water, (hence why it is not coast guard approved) but once you're above the water it doesn't matter, it makes moving around a lot easier, almost like wearing a shirt. It helps with reaching around my back to do 360's. Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase.

Does this vest offer any kind of flotation at all, or is it only for like padding?
jaydon p on Aug 4, 2013
Best Answer: It actually has a little more float than you would think. It keeps you out of the water when you are waiting for the rope but you do find yourself swimming a lot. Overall comfortable vest. Would deffinatly recommend.
