K2 Rescue Shovel Plus
Designed for durability and utility, the K2 Rescue Shovel Plus avalanche shovel is an essential for backcountry snow travel. Shovel has a strong aluminum blade and a shaft that extends from 28 - 64cm (11 in. - 25.25 in). Designed for utility, the shovel can be used as a standard shovel or you can convert it to hoe mode, which facilitates digging in tight locations. Holes in the shovel blade let you build a rescue sled with K2 BackSide skis and many Factory Team skis (sold separately). Includes hardware for attaching the shovel blade to your skis; hardware stashes inside the shovel shaft. Use the K2 Rescue Shovel Plus avalanche shovel blade as a deadman anchor while ski mountaineering.
