A shopper asked: How well does the lacing system hold up? Do you need to keep tightening them after a couple runs? Mar 15, 2014

Joyce N: It holds up very well. I am an intermediate boarder and I have had no problems. My fiancé and uncle are both expert boarders and they also say it locks and doesn't come loose. Typically, you end up tightening them too much because it's so easy to tighten so you have to loosen them after the first couple of runs. It will stay locked in place all day and you will never want regular laces again.

Hope that helps! Half of my family has K2 boots with the BOA system. Plus K2's are comfortable.

Stacey H: The laces are very durable. Our daughter is 15 and she absolutely loves these boots. She tightens them once or twice throughout a whole day on the mountain. They are a great buy. Very warm, comfortable and look great. Mar 16, 2014

Maria M: They do need a couple turns to tighten up after a run, not too much though. I usually just give them a quick couple if twists on the lift ride back up. Mar 15, 2014

Allison F: I've only had to tighten mine after 15 runs or so. They hold up really good. Great boots

Trish asked: How are the boots with the snow? Do they get wet or do they stay dry throughout the day? Mar 15, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Meaghan M: I wore them 3 days straight in Utah -- they get somewhat wet by the end of the day, but I wore good socks and it never bothered me (I only noticed they were damp when I took them off at the end of the day... and we were boarding what ended up being 25-30" of fresh snow over those 3 days). Once I took off the boots, I would separate the liners to let them dry, and they were good to go the next day. Mar 17, 2014

Ariana R: They definitely don't get, although I have to say that halfway throughout the day I have to go inside the lodge and take my feet out to warm them again. I don't think wetness is a problem whatsoever but your feet do get somewhat cold. Overall though, I do enjoy these boots, if that helps! Mar 15, 2014

LeeAnn C: I have snowboarded for 6 hours in wet slushy snow and my feet stayed super dry and warm. My only beef with the boots is they run small. I wear an 8 and bought an 8 1/2 but they are still a little small length wise. Mar 16, 2014

Maggie M: I used them for the first time today and it was snowing like crazy. They stayed completely dry and fit so well! Super, super comfortable! I would definitely recommend them! Mar 15, 2014
