Hey does the K2 Hurrithane come in pairs or do I have to purchase two? Also, are these bindings compatible with a Sapient Yeti Snowboard?
A shopper on Jan 29, 2014
Best Answer: They come in pairs and they will mount to the Sapient Yeti boards.

I wear a size 11 thirtytwo tm two boot, which size would best fit?
Logan B on Jan 11, 2014
Best Answer: I would get the largest size they got. It looks like their sold out at the moment though. Maybe try elswhere? Truth is the length of the strap runs a little short for some reason. Even when i've streched it out to it's Max length. I use a size 12 myself, and it usually takes me an extra bit of effert to get them to fit on right since they fit almost exactly.

The short answer: Get the largest size possible if you wear a size 11 boot.

Are these bindings unisex? How do they perform in all-mountain riding?
MARITES E on Dec 16, 2013
Best Answer: I see no reason why these bindings wouldn't be considered unisex. As for all-mountain performance they are definitely on the soft side so they may not be the best for powder or tree runs. I'm an older guy and in the early 90's we would cut our high backs down to allow for more boning and tweaking on grabs and since then I've always preferred soft and/or stubby backs at the loss of toe to heel edge response. The Hurrithane in my opinion offers plenty of edge to edge support with all of the freedom of nose to tail lean you could want. These bindings give me the skate on snow feel that I personally prefer for everything on the mountain and that includes icy carving days here in the Midwest. For what it's worth, many people consider these to be more for noodle boards and jib/press/butter riding. Hope this helps.

Is the high back on the 2013 hurrithane too soft for all mountain riding? Does it have lateral stiffness for response?
Shauwn P on Dec 13, 2013
Best Answer: It is pretty soft, but I haven't noticed too much loss of responsiveness. What I like about them is the flexibility makes them very forgiving.

would these bindings be compatible with a "Ride" Wild Life Board?
A shopper on Dec 9, 2013
Best Answer: The only bindings that are not compatable with other boards are Burton bindings and boards. They make theirs with a different type of three hole set up. But I have a Ride board and K2 bindings and they work great together!

I currently have a pair of Ride LS Series Bindings and my boots fit them well. How similar are these bindings to the ones I have?
Danalog on Dec 8, 2013
Best Answer: Hi Daniel,

The K2 Hurrithane Snowboard Bindings very similar to the Ride LS Snowboard bindings in terms of key features; they both have highbacks, a baseplate, dics, and ankle & toe straps. Unfortunately we are completely sold out the Ride LS Snowboard Bindings and I won't be able to compare measurements.

I got size 9 salomon boots, will it fit the medium bindings? i noticed it said size 5-8, if anyone could answer this question that would be great ! thank you
joeyt on Dec 20, 2013
Best Answer: Hello Joey,

Whether or not the boots will fit really depends on the overall shell length and bulk of the boot. What boots do you have? I'll try to fit them into a size medium K2 Hurrithane Snowboard Binding.

i have a k2 ray gun and was wondering what kind of bindings would work for it thank you?
A shopper on Dec 14, 2013
Best Answer: Just make sure you have the right baseplate. If your bindings didn't come with a baseplate that works, you can find compatible baseplates at any ski shop or online store. I'd recommend taking the board into a local shop, if you can, to have someone tell you exactly what kind of baseplate you need. Nowadays, most are universal.

I"m new to snowboarding and I just got the Burton Me Nugg and the K2 Hurrithanes. I found out that they are not compatible with each other. Should I get new bindings, or if I were to buy the "Ride Slot Compatible Kit Binding Discs", would I be able to use the Hurrithanes on my board?
Tom Leonard on Dec 8, 2013
Best Answer: Hi Tom,

In theory the K2 Hurrithane Snowboard Bindings and the Nugg should match up, but the Burton M6 hardware does not work with the K2 disc washers. You must has missed the compatibility section of the Hurrithane specs that says that they're compatible with 3D and 4x4 mounting patterns only.

It is NOT recommended that you use the Ride Slot Compatible Kit Dics with any other bindings than Ride.

It looks like you'll have to return the Hurrithanes and get something else. Check out all of the bindings on the following link, they're compatible with the Channel System: http://www.the-house.com/est-bindings.html

Within 30 days of the purchase of your order, you may return any product purchased from The House unused and in its original condition for credit or exchange. Please check out http://www.the-house.com/helpdesk/returns-exchanges-backorders/ for more details.

Should I go for the K2 Hurrithanes or Union DLX's? (Looking at the union contacts also but I don't really want to cough up the extra $ if there isn't a big difference in quality) My size boot is 11 (DC), so I would assume the Larges would fit for the K2s. Thanks!
A shopper on Dec 4, 2013
Best Answer: I think sticking with the K2 Hurrithane SNowboard Bindings would be a good idea. The have a 3D formed ankle strap with tons of padding, an awesome toe strap that fits snug on any boots, and a soft highback to tweak out your tricks. Size large would work best.

I purchased the forum recon bindings about a week ago and my local board shop has these hurrithanes for just about the same price. I board in the south east so its mostly icy conditions but occasionally I'm able to head north west for a couple days and hit some pow. I do a little park action when I'm here in the SE but when I'm NW i mostly stick to the backcountry and hit natural features. Basically my question is which binding is going to work best in all conditions? (I ride a 158 k2 slayblade and boot size is 12 if that matters..)
