hey, I currently own a nice pair of choppers (leather mittens). they had tug rope guards but I recently lost one of the two. I don't want to ruin my nice choppers. Basically my question is how long will these mittens last. I go about once or twice every 2 weeks. I like terrain park, which uses tug to get up. Also will the they get soaked after 3 or so hours? I tend to fall once every run down the hill.

I own a mitten pair and a glove pair of The-House mittens. I love them.... I wore them in horrible conditions to blow my driveway this morning.... my hands were toasty and dry. The leather though, is buttery soft and a tow rope will eventually destroy them (any basically any other mitten out there). Get these for all mountain riding, and get a cheep pair of leather choppers from a hardware store for the park. Of the mittens we offer.. these: will be the most robust for parks:
