The Hifly Motion is well suited for slightly heavier windsurfers, because of their very large volume. A large volume ensures that the board is not pushed under water and you can easily uphaul the sail, if you cannot waterstart yet. This also results in sufficient stability and safety for the beginner. The dagger board, which can be taken out or fully retracted, improves stability and helps you to get back to where you started from. Therefore it also serves as a safety feature. Without the use of the dagger board, both boards ride like large Freeride boards, and do particularly well in light winds. Also the larger volume comes in handy in such conditions. Planing-force winds are not necessary to go for a relaxed sail at your home spot.
