Key Features of the Grenade Fragment Snowboard Mittens:
I used to hate mitts but ever since I got these I haven't worn gloves since, even in spring conditions. They held up nice during wetter snow days although they didmget wet on the outside. These are more of a lightweight mitt

These are great mittens, the only thing I don't like is the fact that it didn't come with a set of inner gloves.. I use a set of old inner gloves that came with my old grenade mittens and they work great.. The mittens are real warm and they stay dry through full days of riding
They fit a little tighter than j had hoped, but they seem to be very durable, and are surprisingly warm for how thin they are. I've worn them in -20* conditions without having cold hands. I would definitely recommend them.
I was shocked by how small these gloves ran. I got XLs and they are MUCH smaller than my Large Drop Split mittens are. They are also very thin and there is no removable insert either. If you are looking for a spring/summer mitt this might be pretty good but they are not suitable for cold weather.
Me and my wife both wore these Mittens to our first time snowboarding. We purchased these because they were inexpensive and had our sizes. At first we were worried that they were not gonna keep us warm and so many people had told us that good gloves are very important part of the snowboarding experience. Supprisingly these mittens were very warm and stayed completely dry, so in that sense they did their job. Unfortunatly they were very difficult to do anything else in; we had to take them off for just about everything, putting our bindings on and off even taking my jacket off was hard with these mittens. Also at some point I was sweating so much that my hands were burning up and I had to take them off. So to sum up mittens were cheap and warm but would have preffered them to be more flexible. Or I should have just gone with gloves
Why does the description show that there is a removable liner? Either the ones I ordered last month are missing the liner or the description is wrong? The main reason I ordered them and not another pair was because of the removable liner. These gloves are very thin, and run small. I haven't even tried them yet but they might make good warm weather gloves if that.
Best Answer:Hi Shawn, This is a good question. It looks like the original Fragment mittens we received from Grenade did have removable liners, but that spec was changed in later shipments. For that I really apologize. You are able to return your gloves: http://www.the-house.com/helpdesk/returns-exchanges-backorders/ I will update the post, beyond that... they do seem like well made and comfortable mitts! Thanks.
