Key Features of the Gravis Lowdown HC Skate Shoes:
So i got these shoes a couple months ago when they were $24. I was a bit skeptical about high tops, but once i got these shoes i fell in love with them. I feel like a boxer when i wear them and they have great support,There is great ankle support that has yet to give way and i love skating in these shoes.
The only con, is that you have to unlace the top 2 holes each time to slide your foot in nicely otherwise you get a little sketched out thinking something will tear.
Other than that great shoes id recommend them to anyone
I got a couple pairs of these because they were on sale and they are a great shoe for the price i paid. the are comfortable and they have plenty of colours to choose from. I think they run a bit bigger than most skate shoes like DC and Globe but i dont wear them skating so it doesnt really matter.
I love these shoes. Since I have a wider foot it is hard to find a company that makes a shoe that fits my foot. These Gravis Lockdowns are great. Not only do they fit correctly but the design is awesome. Its never to late to enjoy the younger side of life and these are my kid time awesome shoes. The materials seem good quality too. I wear these all the time now and they show minimal wear...and thank goodness no tears. I'd highly recommend these. Good shoes at a great price, what else could you ask for
These shoes are very cool looking the high tops are awesome and the blue green colour really stands out, the sole offers almost no grip in the wet or on ice i dont think their meant as a snow shoe though so i can forgive that, very good shoe i love them
Gravis is the footwear brand of burton and as we know burton is the the oldest and the best snowboard brand! This shoe is high top so it protect skateboarders ankes! There was a problem with the latest series of this shoes but the designers resolved this problem! There was very slim leather layer on the side of the shoefloor and it came off after a couple of use!
i would recommend it to everyone who likes snowbaording and skateboarding
i wear these shoes to the mountain every timer i go cause they're high tops and keep my feet and ankles dry and happy. the only con about these shoes is that the two vent holes on the inside of the foot let in snow and water in the winter(although they're very nice to help vent the she in the summer), so i fixed the problem by putting a piece of duct tape on the inside of the shoe to cover the holes in the winter. then take the tape off for the summer months. the other slight con for the winter is that the sole of this shoe has almost no traction at all, so walk carefully in the snow with these. although the boombox pattern on the sole looks cool. overall a great shoe that is super durable, but lacks traction in the winter. still they're my favorite shoes to get from my car to the lodge
The liberty color is sweet, google shopping search it for better pictures, people always ask me if I like the Lakers now. I don't. Other than that the shoes are decent, fit true to size. They are not super comfortable and provide little support in the arch, they are basically slip on shoes with high tops added on
Just bought and received them today. Unfortunately they mixed the sizes up and I got 2 right footed shoes!!!!!! soo frustrating because the right foot felt so good. hopefully I'll send them back and get the left foot with the right sizing and be happy. but until then I'm well pissed off!!!
I liked the shoes when I bought them and I was able to get my regular size. They came in a lot of colors which was cool. But like someone else said, if you have flat feet they can hurt a little bit, I was able to get used to it after a while
