Do I need anything else to connect these bindings to a splitboard?
A shopper on Nov 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: No, it comes with the metal plates that screw into the board, as well as the heel risers and the other part that your toe clips into in touring mode.
How does these compare to the karakoram bindings? Would they be comparable to prime 1 or prime SL?
N U on Nov 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: These effectively ARE Karakoram (split 30) bindings, just w/ Gnu straps. I would say that the flex profile is the same as the prime 1/SL's but these have the slightly less streamlined split 30 system, as opposed to the prime system. Also the straps are more traditional style instead of the prime's super-lightweight minimal straps which is one of the things I particularly liked about the Gnu's. They may not be top-of-the-line, but they are a great budget play.
Would these be too big in size small for women's size 6 boots? It would be size 5 in mens... What are the downsize of getting these in small...
N U on Nov 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi Nancy,
A Woman's 6 boot is more like a Men's 4.... this binding will be too large. Plus a Men's binding will have a taller hi-back and a wider heel cup.... that can give you really sloppy performance and safety characteristics.
