Dave Says

Dave here at The House, talking about the Forum Destroyer snowboard boot. The snowboard boot being the most important part of your package, this is a really, really good one to look at.
What you have is, first of all, a heat-moldable liner, it's going to conform to your foot just by wearing around for two or three days in a row. It's going to pick up all your ankle structure, your arch, your toes, and basically, make it a custom snowboard boot for your foot. It's got a nice power strap in the front, keeping the 3D-molded tongue in the center where it should be. Very few seams actually touching the foot on this one, which is nice, definitely gives you little less irritation.
From there, the upper itself will have the harness for the liner inside the snowboard boot. So, when you're taking up, it takes not only your foot but the liner, and forces it into the back of it - you get very little heel lift with this system. Other than that, synthetic leather construction, definitely a good-looking snowboard boot. You got the plaid through the tongue, brown leather, gum rubber sole with a little bit of harder compound through the center to give you a really good grip on icy hard packed terrain. Other than that, flex on this bad boy somewhere in the middle of the road, 1 being soft - 10 being stiff; I'd call this about a 6. Definitely good for all types of riders, all types of riding – powder, hard packed, entry level or expert. Just a super, super versatile boot and definitely a very good quality, a very comfortable grip, a good one to take a look at.
