A shopper asked: Will size 12 boots fit with the large? Dec 29, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Bill K: I recently bought the large republic binding and they fit
with my size 12 boots. At first they looked like they might be
a little on the short side, because the foot bed adjustment would not
go out to the end of the boot like my old bindings did. After using them
they actually performed smoother than my old bindings, this probably
is because the foot bed is actually thicker near the toes helping with
the toe-side pressure that is lost with the shorter length. The binding
has a lot of screws so check their tightness often (use loctite as well).
I would buy these again. Enjoy the ride!!!

William F: Large bindings, size 12 DC boots. Based on a regular width board, I was worries about toe drag but this binding is rather adjustable and even though i havent messed with it yet i have no problems with toe drag. But also no problems with the boot fitting in the bindings. Love them so far and the color scheme is sick Dec 31, 2013

Austin B: They definitely will. I wear a size 11 boot, and there is quite a bit of extra space. There was actually so much extra space I had to adjust the straps so there was less, so I highly doubt you will have any problem Dec 31, 2013

james M: Yes, I ride a 13 boot. Adjust the length of the sole to the longest position and a 12 will fit with no problem. Adjust length of straps and ur gold. Dec 31, 2013

Gloria A L: I can't say for sure. My son has a 10.5 boot. He loves the bindings! We called the 1800 line for what size binding to buy! They were very helpful. Jan 1, 2014

Brett F asked: The waist width of my board is a regular and its a Nitro Haze 153 and I am getting these bindings in L +, will that fit ok? Dec 5, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Matt B: The binding will fit your board, and the bindings will also fit your boot, but if you wear a size 13 boot, there's a real good chance that your toes/heals are going to hang over the edge of the board. Dec 12, 2013

Brett F: So maybe I should go a little smaller with a boot Dec 12, 2013
Roy MStaff: Brett - if you're done growing then go with as small of a binding as you can manage. If you are an 10.5 stick with the medium else jump up to the Large Dec 12, 2013
Brett F: He said my toes or my heels might hang off? If my bindings will fit L + then wouldn't I be ok? Dec 12, 2013
Roy MStaff: Brett - maybe I missed it but what size boot do you wear? Dec 12, 2013
Brett F: I wear a 13 in shoes Dec 13, 2013
Roy MStaff: Brett - ok. So first of all you definitely need the size Large in the binding. Secondly you really need a new board - a wide board. The Nitro Haze 154 only has a 24.6 waist and you need to be up in the 26+ range to compensate for that size foot. It's not the binding that is incompatible with your board rather your boots. If you have not purchased the Haze, I would recommend looking at the Nitro Haze Wide or another wide option.
Hope this helps. Dec 13, 2013
Brett F: It's already ordered, I was told the bindings would fit Dec 13, 2013
Matt GStaff: Hello Brett,

The Forum Republic Snowboard Bindings would fit on a 153cm Nitro Haze Snowboard.

Brett F asked: Now I wear a size 13, the bindings won't hang off the board or get in the way? Dec 5, 2013

james M: Slide the heel hoop back as far as possible. This will center ur bindings and boot a lil more. At 15 degrees on the stance, my size 13s never bite. Dec 31, 2013

Brett F: Which is? Lol I don't have my box anymore so I don't know what's what Dec 31, 2013
james M: There are two screws inthe footbed and one on each side of the heel (lowest of the 3). Loosen theese, pull the metal bar behind ur heel back( this is called ur heel hoop), this extends ur footbed and allows ur heel to be further back. This takes ur toes out of the snow. Tighten screws, replace toothed. Dec 31, 2013
Matt GStaff: Hello again Brett,

It depends on the waist width of the board.

Brett F asked: Where is the heel hoop at? So my toes won't go over my board Jan 8, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Matt GStaff: Hi Brett,

I'm a little confused about your question and comment.

The "heel loop", which is also known as the Heel Cup, wrap around the back of the heel it's combined with the Highback that keep your heels from being placed over the board's heelside edge.

The thing that keeps your toe from going over the board are a combination of the footbed and toe strap.
