  • "Boot fit warning!"

Pros: Cheap, Sturdy, Cons: Not a great fit with some boots,

So I've had these binding for over 2 years now(2009). Looks like they have not changed anything over the 2 newer model except for the highback. Before last year, I use to wear the no-brand beaten up hand me down boots that were really thin and flimsy. These boots fit perfect with these bindings! But then last year I got some 32 Sonics and the bindings had a REALLY REALLY tough time adjusting to them. I had to extend the latches on both ends on both straps to get the straps right in the middle of the boots. Be very wary as to what kind of boot you get with these bindings! As for the riding, these do the job. Before I got my own set up a couple years back, I rode on my friends old cartels. Compared to the cartels, these feel clunky but after a couple runs you just get use to it and don't notice the difference cause you forget what anything else feels like. For a person with not much experience with many bindings, I'd say these will do right by you. OH YEA! how could I forget? these suckers are heavy! A lot of metal on these. But that doesn't matter too much when you're only using lifts to get you up the hill. I would give these a 3.5 stars but I can't, so yea. Not deserving enough to be pumped up to 4 stars.
