The Flow Weekend Warrior Snowboard Bag has a light padding on the base of the bag to protect the board's base from dings and scratches.
You can fit 2 boards in the bag, but you'll need to take off a pair of bindings to place the boards on top of each other. If you're looking for extra protection and want a slim profile bag get out the Burton Gig Snowboard Bag, it has light padding throughout. If you're planning to travel with a lot of gear, I'd highly suggest getting a bag with wheels. I can put all of my riding gear in my wheelie bag (about 48 lbs.), and the wheels are a life saver for airports, trains, bus, and walking! They may be a bit more expensive, but worth every cent.

Would this be a good bag for a 14 yr. old beginner snowboarder? It would just be for trips w/the school .

Best Answer:Ooooo yea man. I'm in the military so I only take it on weekend trips. It holds everything I need.i have a 164 board, and everything works out fine. If your 14 yr old is using anything close to a 166 board than there gonna be a beast.
