EG.5 was developed and contoured for a smaller face while maintaining the simplistic yet functional design you idolize from the EG1. Don''t let the smaller frame fool you; big things come in small packages.
Key Features of the Electric EG.5 Snowboard Goggles:
Got these as X'mas gift from my GF on last X'mas in Niseko, Japan. I was so happy when I open my gift. I got the Andreas Wiig model that is in silver chrome. It came with a extra rose red lens and a red/black bandana. It's smaller than the EG1 but doesn't affect the view. The view of the gogles is quite wide despites the small size. Another pros for this goggles is its relatively soft goggle frame in comparison to my dragon DX and Foil also my friend's Oak's A frame. This make the goggle fits easier to the shape of the face and make it super comfortable. The soft frame also make it easier to change lens in comparison to my dragon DX and Foil. I change my lens twice every day in this trip to Japan for different lighting condition. And the goggle didn't fog in this trip at all. If you have a small/medium face and you don't wanna spend extra 20-30 bugs for the EG1 get the EG0.5 Cuz unlike the DXS is the same price as the DX in Dragon. It's cheaper for smaller in Electric
I've owned a pair of these for a few years and have no major issues with them. When I bought them it came with a spare lense and it doesn't seem like it comes with one when you buy from here. I've never used it anyways as it is only suitable low light conditions.
I like the simple styling of these compared to other goggles. They will stand the test of time as far as styling trends go.
Recently they have been fogging on me, but it may be due to lack of ventilation from wearing my hood over them
These are great goggles if you have a small head/face. I ordered these before I realized that they were a smaller goggle. That being said, they are a great goggle and are very comfortable. They don't fog very easily either
