The-House.com Store asked: Why did you choose this?
R A: More protection, floatation and support! Looks Great, Sale price, Free shipping! Jul 24, 2013
A shopper asked: Since 1990 all I´ve used are seat harnesses, never used a waist haness, except for very brief moments when I borrowed one momentarily, and I did´nt like the feel
and the fact that they would slide up.
I am 54 now and after a strenous session I get my lower back slightly sore ( very minor) and I need to replace my harness..
After looking at the Da Kine Impact Harness I fell for it, the looks and the flotation vest got me.
On the other side, the new Da Kine seat harness boasts great lower back support and comfort but does not look as cool and has no flotation.
would you reccomend to try the waist impact harness or go as always with a seat harness?

R A: I could never get used to a seat harness because of catapulting during the learning period. Waist harnesses always slide up a bit. I like to have the hook higher anyway. With the Dakine Impact Harness there is less sliding-up, way more floatation and increased body insulation / protection! I'm 67 and started back in 1987. No more back pain since this sport strengthens your abdomen muscles! Seat harness puts more pressure on your lower back where waist harness stretches it - think about this when you try both systems. Use what ever is comfortable. Both are better then bare gorilla-grips! Oct 7, 2013
