My son has now worn these twice in almost below zero temp and didn't complain about being cold once. Both days were close to zero, one day it didn't stop snowing and he didn't complain once (about his legs being cold). Absolutely worth the money.
My son loves the pants! They are extremely light and he says they keep him warm while he is snowboarding and even his phone has stayed dry in the pocket. My only problem is that the waist isn't adjustable. My son is slim and tall so the length is great, but he is swimming in the waist. I hate that I needed to add an uncomfortable belt to these pants. Its time for snow pants to catch up with the rest of the pants manufacturers an add an adjustable waist.
The fitting guide states a small is a 10/12, however my son who wears a 10 in pants got the small and they are 4" too short. Very deceptive. Obviously a small is a 8 or so. He already took the tags off so we are keeping them, but we will end up buying more soon. Very disappointed with the DC fitting guide/website.
Best Answer:Not sure what you need but I can tell you my son wears a 10 in pants. I ordered the small because the fitting guide said the small was equal to a 10/12. However, the small is so short that they are floods on my son. I was not happy with their size suggestions. You will probably have to go with a large and have him wear a belt...Just be careful of the DC brand since the sizing is so far off!
My son just turned 8 and is pretty average in size. The medium youth were HUGE on him. I sent them back and got a small which is still a little big but doable. I think the inseam runs long on these pants as well. Which I like
Best Answer:If you haven't already, take a second to look at the Sizing & Fit link that is located above the green Add to Cart button. The sizing chart will help you select the DC Factor Snowboard Pants size you need with your specific measurements.
Best Answer:Hi Amy, DC's size charts here will be quite good. The Youth Factor Pants XS (8-10) will have a waist of 22in to 23in and will have an inseam around 23in. DC suggests that they will be best for someone 48 to 50 in tall.
