It is easy to overlook how important warmth is on the hill until you are riding the lift on a frigid powder day, so slip on the insulated performance of the DC Ace Snowboard Pants for women to stay comfortable in any weather. With a durable polyester twill outer, these snow pants offer 10,000mm of waterproof protection and 10,000g of breathability to shield you from the elements of winter while letting enough air circulation to stay cool when hiking or riding on a bluebird day. The simple casual design has a loose regular fit for a timeless look that never goes out of style on the slopes.
These pants are definitely warm enough and keep you very dry, but they tend to sit VERY low. I feel like if I wasn't wearing layers underneath or if I didn't have a longer coat, I would be showing everyone part of my bum. The waist/hip size also seemed to run small, according to the sizing/measurement chart. I took my measurements and saw that I was on the larger side of the medium specifications, but I decided to purchase a size Large due to the fact I usually wear a layer or two under the pants. The size Large (even though, according to the sizing chart would be at least 1.5-2 inches too big) was snug without any layers and barely fits with one layer underneath. Other than telling you to order a size larger than what the specs say, I would highly recommend these pants. I think I have a pair of each brand of boarding pants ever made, and these are definitely my favorite.
As a girl it can be hard to find a pair of loose-fit snowboard pants but these were a comfortable fit with side drawstrings to adjust the pant length. Overall, they were warm and comfortable- all I can ask for in a pair of snowboard pants.
I love the pattern (sequin) on the pants and the style, however, it is very difficult for me to find pants that fit properly because I am short with big hips. The bigger waist size made the pants too long and difficult to walk/ski in. For someone who is skinny and tall, these pants would be perfect. The pants keep you warm and with a unique pattern.
Best Answer:I do not consider these a baggy pant. Most boaring/ski pants are too baggy on me.I am 5'7" 125 lbs. 32" inseam. I usually wear a 2 or 4 pant and I have virtually no hips or butt. I bought a size M and I love the fit. I hope this helps.
I'm more of a bigger girl. Have a booty for sure and thighs. I'm scared to order the xl in women's because of them not being baggy enough the size chart is what I wear but any suggestions of what brand I should consider for baggies?
Best Answer:I normally wear size 10 pants, took my measurements and saw that I was in the small end of the large pants. I figured baggier were better because I sometimes wear my thicker spandex under it. I ordered DC size large. They BARELY fit in the butt. Girl, I don't really have a butt, so I would definitely order a size up from what you are thinking. As far as leg room goes, there is PLENTY there, and I have legs of a soccer player, so you should be fine in the legs.
If you're going by the size chart you will be perfectly fine. I went by the size chart as well and mine are a little Baggy which is what I intended for as well. You will be safe by following the size chart. Hope this helps.

I want to purchase these pants but I'm really hesitant to purchase a large in a women's pants which is what the chart tells me I need to order. I usually wear a small or a extra large in a juniors/little girls. Is it that these are really juniors and not womens? My typical size is a 29 inch waste jean; can you please confirm which size you think I should get? Thanks.

The size chart attached to the DC Ace Pants is from their catalog, and I double checked their current listings. I also checked other outerwear companies who also list an L as roughly a 29 waist. You can always chat with our product specialists: 866-243-6932... they are great. I hope this helps.
