Cozy pants that allow you to move
These pants are definitely warm enough and keep you very dry, but they tend to sit VERY low. I feel like if I wasn't wearing layers underneath or if I didn't have a longer coat, I would be showing everyone part of my bum. The waist/hip size also seemed to run small, according to the sizing/measurement chart. I took my measurements and saw that I was on the larger side of the medium specifications, but I decided to purchase a size Large due to the fact I usually wear a layer or two under the pants. The size Large (even though, according to the sizing chart would be at least 1.5-2 inches too big) was snug without any layers and barely fits with one layer underneath. Other than telling you to order a size larger than what the specs say, I would highly recommend these pants. I think I have a pair of each brand of boarding pants ever made, and these are definitely my favorite.

I love the pattern (sequin) on the pants and the style, however, it is very difficult for me to find pants that fit properly because I am short with big hips. The bigger waist size made the pants too long and difficult to walk/ski in. For someone who is skinny and tall, these pants would be perfect.
The pants keep you warm and with a unique pattern.

My mesurements indicate that I should buy an XL. However, I usually wear medium pants (size 6/8). Are the pants from DC usually smaller?
Larissa A on Dec 13, 2013
Best Answer: Hello Larissa,

There is not standardized sizing within the snowsports industry that each company must adhere to.

We received the DC Sizing Chart from DC, the measurements reflect the actual sizes.

What is DCs baggiest pant for women?
A shopper on Nov 18, 2014
Best Answer: I do not consider these a baggy pant. Most boaring/ski pants are too baggy on me.I am 5'7" 125 lbs. 32" inseam. I usually wear a 2 or 4 pant and I have virtually no hips or butt. I bought a size M and I love the fit. I hope this helps.

Do these have zippers on the bottom to expand the pants over your boots?
A shopper on Feb 28, 2014
Best Answer: Just a snap system that allows them to be more tight or open. I absolutely love these pants. I don't really use the snap they fit over the boot perfectly.

I'm more of a bigger girl. Have a booty for sure and thighs. I'm scared to order the xl in women's because of them not being baggy enough the size chart is what I wear but any suggestions of what brand I should consider for baggies?
Katie K on Nov 28, 2014
Best Answer: I normally wear size 10 pants, took my measurements and saw that I was in the small end of the large pants. I figured baggier were better because I sometimes wear my thicker spandex under it. I ordered DC size large. They BARELY fit in the butt. Girl, I don't really have a butt, so I would definitely order a size up from what you are thinking. As far as leg room goes, there is PLENTY there, and I have legs of a soccer player, so you should be fine in the legs.

I want to purchase these pants but I'm really hesitant to purchase a large in a women's pants which is what the chart tells me I need to order. I usually wear a small or a extra large in a juniors/little girls. Is it that these are really juniors and not womens? My typical size is a 29 inch waste jean; can you please confirm which size you think I should get? Thanks.
A shopper on Oct 24, 2014
Best Answer: Hi,

The size chart attached to the DC Ace Pants is from their catalog, and I double checked their current listings. I also checked other outerwear companies who also list an L as roughly a 29 waist. You can always chat with our product specialists: 866-243-6932... they are great. I hope this helps.
