Snowboarding enthusiasts need a quality jacket that is not only warm but stylish, while enhancing performance and providing essential features that have an active lifestyle in mind. Luckily, the DC Spectrum Snowboard Jacket is just the choice, with a bonded fleece lined soft shell make and thumb hole cuffs to ensure warmth, even in the harshest of elements. The jacket zips up high on the neck to keep out wind and will surely be a great addition to your wardrobe.
This jacket is not heavily Insulated for a subzero type of day the insulation is more geared toward a 30 degree spring day where you will be moving a lot and producing mainly your own body heat. The insulation material is like a very thin layer of fleece. This jacket will keep you very dry however. No matter how many times I fell I never got wet. The jacket looks amazing in person. I ride mainly park so I move around a ton and this jacket allows me to do that with little restriction. I also really like the thumb holes in the cuff. It just make the jacket feel more comfortable for some reason. The thumb holes however are not easily compatible with regular bulky winter gloves but a pipe glove will fit through them rather easily. I've ridden this jacket all season and there are no signs of wear at all. The Hand-dye print is not as bright and vivid as it shows in the picture here. The white is more of a shallower fade out from the black and looks kind of smoky gray. The DC emblem however stands out like crazy and REALLY makes this jacket look stellar. I've gotten comments about what jacket it is and where I got it. And if Torstein Horgmo rocks it, it must be great!
I loved this jacket when i had it. It kept me warm all year long on very cold days. I have big shoulders and this fit great. The dc logo did not stay on very well on mine but its no big deal for me. I ended up accidently burning a big hole in the jacket and will get a new one soon.
got this jacket as my first, not really know much about snow jackets....the jacket is warm with the fleece on the inside, and it does a really good job of waterproofing...the only downside is that its really not great for the coldest conditions...i think the jacket is great for the beginning and the ending of the season where its a bit warm ou
5,000 water proofed soft-shell jacket with thumb cuffs, clips to secure to your pants and a removable powder skirt. The lining is really well done and seems to be out of a neoprene type material but I haven't gotten my shirt wet yet.
There aren't too many pockets or special features but it is so light and comfortable while being thick enough to get you through the colder days with a bit of insulation
