Your feet are in good hands when you wear a pair of DC Rogan Snowboard Boots. The protection starts with the highly water resistant upper which is made of a synthetic leather material that ensures your feet will stay dry. Traditional style laces make these boots a breeze to take on and off. The internal ankle harness protects your joints when you put on your areal shows. Combine that with the Molded EVA midsole, your feet will be in paradise.
Here at The House talking about the DC Rogan snowboard boot, super awesome snowboard boot, favorite by their team rider Ikka Backstrom. What you’re looking at here is probably, I would say, 1 being soft, 10 being stiff, something in the 6 range. Start off, lower part of the snowboard boot, we got mostly Phylon for the mid sole and the sole. The white here is the rubber, which they do use sparingly to reduce the weight. It’s got a pretty nice rigid arch support in the center. To the top of the snowboard boot, we go into articulating cuff, it’s going to help the snowboard boot flex on itself more like a hinge would. It’s not going to bunch or crimp in the instep area. So, defiantly smoother flex when your knees are moving, which they always are when you are riding. From there, 3D molded tongue, really, really nice. It’s going to suck itself into the shin really well, and grab the curvature of the top of the foot without deforming when you get pressure from the laces. This one does have the lace harness actually sown to the outer part of the snowboard boot. I insist on that for my snowboard boots, so that when you pull the lace liner, or the laces for the liner, it pulls not only your foot in the liner, but the whole liner back into the snowboard boot. Definanlty gives you really good heal hold. Speaking of the liner. We got the DC Command liner here. Definantly a really nice liner from them. Super good right-out-of-the-box fit, which is kind of what DC’s are known for. You got the power strap at the top, going too your tongue nice and centered, keep it in place throughout the day. Once again, we got some 3D molding going on here, so it’s not going to be all weird, like ‘bendy,’ ‘bunchy,’ ‘foldy’ stuff. And then from there, moving to the back of the snowboard boot, we have a really deep Achillie pocket. It’s going to give you good heal hold. Combine that with the J bars on the outside and lace harness right there, you got super good heal hold and really responsive kill-it-all snowboard boot at not too bad of a price tag. That’s a DC Rogan snowboard bootfor you.
