best snowboard boot
The best snowboard boot i have ever worn. Very very warm boots and they are super comfortable. They are also flexible right out of the box

Great skate shoe feel
After looking long and hard for a boot with a flat sole without the raised heel I found the lynx. Well made, great articulation and a solid feel. Quick break in period and the boot is just what I wanted. 4 stars just due to the fact that the suede doesn't hold up well under really wet conditions. But whatever the boot is sick.

Quality Boot
I have enjoyed the DC Lynx for the last 12 times out. They are responsive, warm, and comfortable. I gave them a 4 star only because I have not been out more and not sure how many days they will last. I also gave them a 4 because I need to tighten them two to three times during the day to have them as snug as I like.

I wear sz 12 boots, How is the footprint on these? Bulky, normal, downsized?
cliff L on Nov 20, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I wear size 12 shoes and its lil tight but I decided to keep them cause I know they will pack out lil. Definitely don't want tight boots that will make your feet hurt but more importantly you don't want boots that's too lose and make your feet feel like they are going to fall out. It lil tight now but I think after I break them in it will be perfect
I wear a size 9 US, do they come true fit or should I size up ?
A shopper on Nov 15, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi,
These DC Lynx Boots will fit pretty true to size. If you tend to be right between sizes I would go 1 up.
Are the listed sizes US sizes?
straintheory on Jul 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes they are, and are the best I have ever worn
Actually, I was asking about the outsole of the boot when I mentioned the footprint. As to how big it is when it sits in the binding. Basically the amount of space it takes up when strapped in. Kind of a problem with toe drag when you wear sz 12+ boots and the waist width on my boards are a hair over 26cm. Is the shell of the boot bulkier than most?
cliff L on Nov 20, 2015
BEST ANSWER: That's a hard question to answer due to bindings being different depending on brand. I can say the "footprint" of our boots are comparable to any boot brand on the market. When riding a 12+ boot you need to think more about board width and/or stance degree to avoid toe drag.
I am looking for a boot that I can use in the park but also fly down some steep runs. Do these boots fit the bill? I am afraid that they are too stiff for park use. Any opinions?
Zack M on Oct 20, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi Zack,

The DC Lynx Snowboard Boots have a flex rating of 8/10 which is pretty responsive. The Lynx is a great all mountain boot freestyle boot.

It sounds like you're looking for something a little more versatile to be ridden in the parks and all over the mountain... You should check out the the DC Mutiny, it have a flex rating of 6/10.
