Key Features of The DC Field Snowboard Boots:
- Last year, based upon our experiences at the DC Mtn.Lab in Utah, we introduced the Mallard, a member of the Water Resistant Series™ that was developed out of pure necessity. This year we bring that same design concept to the snowboard boot line: introducing the 2009 FIELD
- The FIELD features a unique full TPR TOE CAP, a feature that comes straight from the Mallard. The cap is extremely water-resistant, and provides tons of durability in a typically high-abuse part of the boot. The end result is a boot that combines high functionality with some unique urban styling that reflects DC’s roots
- Designers have utilized SYNTHETIC LEATHER on the upper to keep the FIELD lightweight and water resistant. We’ve also included an Articulated Upper Cuff: it’ll feel like the boots are already broken in even before the first session. An ERGONOMICALLY ENGINEERED 3-D Tongue and an ADJUSTABLE ANKLE BRACE have been included for comfort and support
- Finally, the overall weight of the boot is kept light thanks to DC’s MOLDED EVA MIDSOLE
- The FIELD features the COMMAND Liner
