We have used this lock many times already this year, can use one lock for 2-4 pieces of gear. Obviously won't keep someone that really wants your board from taking it, but they might not take the effort needed to cut the lock. Small enough to not even notice it in my pocket while skiing.
Its a good little lock for the price. My buddy has one and I like it just because its one thing to keep people from stealing my stuff. The only thing is that the wire is skinny so someone could clip it if they had wire snips. It does give me pice of mind tho so I bought one. Its a good lil lock.
If your worried about your whip gettn stolen and will take the time to lock it up, then grab it. Chances are if 99% of boards are chilln and yours is strapped they will go with the grab and go. Its a good idea if your setup is fresh or high dolla but if you beat on em like I do they dont want that thing after a month or two into the season
This is a nice little lock that you can use on your snowboard or equipment. It has a cable inside that you can pull out and with one touch of a button it will retract back inside of the lock. You can program your three digit code and wrap up all your gear to a snowboard rack while you are away. It is small enough to fit in your pocket comfortably once you are ready to hit the slopes again. My only complaint is that mine only had a three digit code. Granted it is better than nothing, I would prefer something that is harder to crack. I have broken into my own lock when I didn't know the code within 2-5 min. But when it comes down to it, if I was snowboard shopping I would pickup a board that has no lock than this lock
