  • "good but not great"

Pros: comfortable under-glove fit, good flexibility, durable materials Cons: too hot, short cuffs and lack dexterity, bland colors

First, let me just start out by saying at $31.95 these are an OK deal but still a bit overpriced for what they offer. I'll give you the bad stuff first. They're too hot from being overinsulated which also contributes to the lack of dexterity that I experienced with these. The cuffs are comfortable but too short(for my tastes) which meant my jacket would occasionally slip off and I'd get snow inside. Lastly and of course the least important, the all black scheme is boring. Not much to it. I just wish there were some better color offerings. The good stuff, these are one of the nicest under-glove fits I've had in a while. They don't chafe your skin and they don't feel too tight unlike some gloves where even on a mildly tight strapping at my wrist it felt like my hand was going to fall off. These provide good flexibility at the wrist section but not so much at the fingers. Last of the good stuff, the palm material feels very durable like it would last a good 10 years+ and the top material feels good for a top of the glove material as well when it comes to durability. Like most gloves though this one may pop a stitch or two on the top if you're not careful how you hold your skis/board and rub an edge against it. Overall a good purchase for a new boarder/skiier but only at something less than 30 bucks.
