  • "Great!"

Pros: Durable , Stylish , Cons: Very large,

Great luggage that contains many compartments. Sections in side are a plus and keeps everything organized. Perfect size for long trips.

  • "great bag for the money"

    , regina, SK
Pros: durability, construction, storage Cons: styling options limited,

I purchased this bag from here 2 years ago. It's been to cuba, mexico twice, 4 winter trips and some weekend getaways. It's been wheeled over snow, sand, name it. To date I've had know problems. I pack a lot and it suits me just fine for a week long trip, hot or cold. I highly recommend this bag. Only downside is the patterns aren't as flashy as burton's.

  • "Amazing"

    , Markham, ON
Pros: Lots of space, Tons of pockets, Good fabric material Cons: Zipper on main opening broke,

This bag is amazing. Good for getaway trips and snowboard tours. Holds almost anything you can think of. Lots of pockets to keep your personal belongings, etc. This thing is even big enough to hide someone in across the border!!

  • "Pretty Good!!"

    , Richmond Hill, ON
Pros: Good Construction, Very spacious, Durable Cons: Doesn't stay standing up,

I bought this almost a year ago and it's held up very well over several trips. Picked it up for about $45 at the time.... great deal! Only problem that I have is that it doesn't stand like most travel luggages. So it has to be laid flat on the ground or someone needs to hold on to it. Other than that, it's well worth it.

  • "Weekend Warrior"

    , Murray, KY
Pros: Holds alot, Good Construstion, light weight Cons: alittle Pricey,

I love this bag i use it for all of my weekend and short trips. You can fit way more than enough luggage for a week or so. It will also hold your gear too. I have a very big foot and my boots are huge and i can fit my boots, jacket, pants, helmet and my othere acceseries that you need to take.

  • "A quality Roomy Bag"

    , ELGIN, IL
Pros: ROOOOOOMY!, Split Feature is great for Orginizing., Cons: Excessive play for the extend-able handle.,

When I first purchased this product I was expecting it to be small. To my surprise it was the exact opposite. Its actually huge(for me at least)! More close to being a medium to large roller in my opinion. This bag was able to fit all my snow gear(size 10 boots, Large snowboard Jacket, goggles, under armor, snowboard bindings, etc.) AND THAT WAS JUST ON ONE SIDE! The split is such a great feature because it easily organizes your gear. On the other side I was able to fit a weeks worth of clothes. Of course you have to be a little creative to make things fit but this bag really made it easy. Whenever I go on flights I just have a carry on back pack for my toiletries & my snowboard helmet. The only possible con I can think of is that the extend-able handle seems to have some excessive play in them. I have only used this on 2 trips so it has not gone bad on me but I can see it easily bending if not used properly or mishandled by the airline ramp agents. The rollers seem sturdy enough so no problem there. This is a great addition to any weekend/short trip travelers!

  • "Awesome and Spacey"

Pros: Lots of Room, Seperate Compartments, Stylish Designs Cons:

I used this bag for a snowboarding trip and its awesome. There are several compartments and there's so much room in it. This bag can hold probably 3-5 days worth of stuff in it.

  • "Quality Bag"

Pros: Robust zips and material, Bright blue insides - good for finding things, Rolls nicely Cons: one wheel is a little stiff,

This bag is great. It's well made with strong materials. It weighs a fair bit empty, but I suppose it has to be to be strong. The handle extends nice and long, making it really easy to pull through airports, etc. It's a lot easier than carrying a huge backpack around. One of the wheels was a little stick when I received it, and it still is. But this doesn't seem to affect the ease at which it rolls. The wheels are big enough to drag it across grass, etc, just not anything too off-road. The fold-out design is great for packing and accessing all your stuff at once, and the few extra little pockets are handy too.

  • "Awesome luggage"

Pros: Heavy duty, Easy to handle, Cons:

A great piece of dakine luggage. Well made and very heavy duty for all the abuse it could get at airports. Easy to find things with how the compartments are situated. Everything isn't all lumped together. Good for a several day trip. The large is the way to go for week+ long trips.

  • "Spacious and Durable"

    , Seattle, WA
Pros: spacious, lightweight, rugged and durable Cons:

this is a great piece of luggage! it will last for years! this is the exact suitcase i take with me on trips. you can fit a ton of stuff in this thing and look good at the same time! great piece!

  • "Spacious and Quality"

    , Brampton, ON
Pros: quality construction, pockets and accessibility, spacious Cons: may be too bulky for short trips, trouble standing on its own,

Rider profile: 6ft, 220lbs This piece of luggage is perfect for a trip from a few days to a week. based on my size and weight (which is pretty big) i am able to fit a full set of gear inside the bag including snowpants, jacket, gloves, goggles, etc. all in the first outer zip section of the bag. the bag comes with zipped mesh sections which can be used to separate regular clothes from your gear / wet gear. i used the inner section and fit 5 changes of clothes with space to spare. there are outer zips on the bag that allows easy access to the front fold contents. the only cons that i can see for this bag is that when empty or near empty the bag has some trouble standing up on its own. second is that this bag may be too big for short 1-2 day trips. though the wrap around buckle straps can help lock it down and tighten the overall size. so its a very small drawback. if you are looking for a bag for short trips (less than a week)or are short on space then this bag is probably too big. but if you have a bigger car or plan week long or more vacation it can fit all your gear, clothes, and probably some souvenirs too.

  • "Great duffle roller"

    , Chicago, IL
    Pros: Large, expandable, Cons:

I picked this up with a low roller board bag, and this is what i use to travel out west every year. The bag is large enough to fit everything, without being too huge. as usual with dakine, the durability is great. this thing has been slammed around and has taken each scratch just fine. would definitely recommend.

  • "great piece of luggage"

Pros: lots of space, durable, many compartments Cons: balance,

I took this bag on a 3 week trip to Europe and it was survived many flights/train rides without any problems. All the separate compartments are great for organizing everything you are traveling with. I look forward to using this on snowboarding trips! Highly recommend this bag, my only issue is that if you pack it wrong, it might not stand up straight.

  • "Excelente"

    , Miami, FL
Pros: Capacidad, Compartimientos divididos, Telas Cons:

  • "Very Impressive"

    , AL
Pros: Lots of room, good looking, good material Cons: none,

I was very pleased with what I got in this bag. It is filled with room to fit things like extra jackets which take up tons of room and everything else you need for a snowboard trip. The material is also very sturdy and I dont think it would rip easily. And the color of this bag is also very appealing. The sale price is very good and i recommend this bag.

  • "Dakine Split Roller Small"

    , Lomita, CA
Pros: size, compartment, quiet wheels Cons: can tip if not packed right,

was really surprised at the size of this thing, definitely not a small in a good way! this thing holds plenty of stuff especially with the split compartments. also stuff can be kept seperated which is cool. the wheels are big and quiet. i did notice that if you pack this bag top heavy (when the bag sits upright) it can tip over. i just make sure to pack the heavier stuff by the wheels and it's all good. definitely, will be using this bag for my travels. buy it!

  • "Awesome Luggage"

    , Cairnlea, Vic
Pros: Sturdy, Looks Great, Durable Cons:

The Luggage is big but not too big. just the right size IMO. Its got enough space to fit more than a weeks worth of clothes + snow gear as well. It's got a lot of compartments where you can sort your stuff and stay organized. Great compliment to your board bag.

  • "Not a Carry On"

Pros: Separate compartments, Thick quality material, Book style opening Cons: When packed uneven it won't stand, Not good for packing fragile items,

It exceeds the carry on luggage dimension limits by a few inches. (And given the lack of overhead space, airlines will be strict about carry ons) So unless you can go to the gates without being stopped by an airline employee about your bag, you will need to check this bag in. It looks small, but I was surprised it's bigger than the burton flight deck (heightwise) and holds a lot of things! The separate compartments for shoes, skivies, and anything else is great for organizing. Be careful, the only thing that is hard is the back/bottom, so packing fragile things can be risky. Also when unevenly packed the bag can has a trouble standing up. But this is a great and durable bag.

  • "Works for me"

    , Gold Coast, AAT
Pros: spit compartments, tension straps for less luggage , Easy to keep everything organized Cons: Does not stand on end ,

I bought this bag and my friend bought the larger version. The larger version suits him as he is going traveling for an extended period. This bag size is perfect for me as I take 1 to 2 week trips most of the time and complements my snowboard bag. In the airports it is much quicker and easier to have this bag to roll and have your snowboard bag over your shoulder if you can't get a trolly. If you are new to boarding I recommend getting this bag for those 10 days to 2 week trips and also a rolling snowboard bag with a carry strap. This way if you are taking a day trip or a weekend you can just take your snowboard bag and a back pack and any longer you can take both. The other benefit is if you are traveling with a friend, you can get away with your snowboard bags and sharing the split roller small cutting down on luggage.

  • "Awesome"

    , Enfield, NSW
    Pros: Space, Compartments, light Cons:

I bought myself one of those and they are awesome, heaps of space and very light.

  • "sweet bag"

    , Henderson, NV
Pros: lots of room, easy to get to your stuff, Cons: none i can think of,

i got this bag to take to costa rica. not exactlly snowboarding, but it worked good none the less. there is a lot of room in this bag and it has several compartments to keep the stinky's away from the freshy's.

  • "Great little bag with lots of compartments "

    , Invermere, BC
Pros: Easy to use compartments , great colours/designs , Cons: Can't stand up on its own,

This is a neat little bag, will be perfect for organising all my gear and clothes.

  • "A good-sized bag for a weekender"

    , IRVINE, CA
Pros: Wheels!, Compartments are spacious, Tough Cons: Needs a dedicated wet/dirty compartment,

I'm glad I got this. This is a good size for weekend excursions, and perhaps a couple more days worth of clothes. The bottom split compartment is good for the bigger stuff, like snowpants/jackets/flightsuits/a one-piece suit and towel, and other gear like a spine protector. The top is good for normal clothes. It has 2 small outside compartments: big enough for a toiletry bag, while the other, all the small things like playing cards. But it would've been better if it had a dedicated wet/dirty compartment. It's actually well sized, and will fit in most car trunks. Keep in mind, the colorway, Folsom, isn't shown here because the site made an error of not showing it. Folsom is actually quite nice: Imagine a grey bag with thick black stripes. I ended up keeping it and not returning it for the Patches colorway which I meant to order. I also have to mention that it is tough. I throw it around.

  • "Great Piece of Luggage"

    , Calgary, AB
Pros: Mesh Compartments Inside, Very Druable Great Wheels and Handle, Love the additional clips over main zipper Cons: None,

I have this bag and the EZ Traveler Large. Great combo for me and the GF to travel with. Plenty of room and you can stuff these things and keep them under 50 lbs each. Highly recommended.

  • "Fantastic Bag"

    , OGDEN, UT
Pros: Great Storage, Great Compartments, Great Price Cons: Compartments are an odd shape,

This is a sturdy piece of luggage, which is fantastic for a week of snowboarding (or moving, like what I am using mine for). Great fabric, with great lining and perfect for someone who likes to organize/compartmentalize their luggage (like I do). Wheels are solid and the pull-out handle is fantastic. Very well made in Dakine fashion. Love it!

  • "Perfect for 3-4 day trips"

    , BETHEL, CT
Pros: Separate comparments, Good color choices, Solid rolling wheels Cons:

This is a great bag for weekend or 3-4 day trips for the average packer. Keep your riding clothes separate from your regular clothes, your bar clothes covered in spilled booze separate from your work clothes... whatever. The rolling wheels are very solid and wide enough to give you some good contact with the ground even on bumpier terrain. Match it up with the Split Large and you've got a great set.

  • "Another GREAT piece of luggage!"

    , Kent, WA
Pros: Lots of space., Split compartments are super convenient., Stores fairly slim as well Cons: Nothing yet,

So far it's an awesome bag. One half of the split is one large compartment which fits at least 4 pairs of jeans, 4 shorts and several T's with room to spare. Other half has one main compartment that's about half the volume of that half of the split. Then there are two smaller compartments on either side of that one that hold two pairs of shoes each. lots of space, great buy, it will be perfect for my trip to Brisbane.

  • "Great Luggage "

    , RENO, NV
Pros: Great design , Cons: A little large ,

It was little larger than I thought, I thought it would be carry-on size but it's a little large for a carry on, no worries, purchase the Dakine carry on. If your a light traveler, the small and carry-on combined is perfect. I bought all three sizes since my girl and I travel and have a lot of stuff.

  • "GREAT!!!"

    , Bay Point, CA
    Pros: size, Quality, Cons:

I just recently bought this for me and my bf. Its not too big and not too small, perfect size for the short trip/vacation. I really like quality of the fabric and also the simplicity of the architecture of luggage. There aren't alot of useless side pockets just what one needs for clothes and accessories.

  • "Great for the price"

    , Bay Point, CA
    Pros: Price, Color, size Cons:

This luggage is very useful. I like using it for short trips. Love how it has two regions where you can put nicer clothes on the bottom and fun clothes on top.
