  • "Decent Bag for the price"

    , OLATHE, KS
Pros: Price, Lightweight, Cons: Space, Very thin,

This bag is great for getting your gear from the house to the slopes. I definitely would not use it for any kind of air travel. It simply will not protect your board. Perfect for someone who wants an easy way to carry their gear to the mountain. Dakine makes great products!

  • "Calidad y funcionalidad"

    , Miami, FL
    Pros: materiales, construccion, Cons:

  • "Dakine :)"

    , Port Monmouth, NJ
    Pros: cheap, Cons: tight,

PErfect Gear bag fits my board and my pants and jacket. kinda snug but it works and gets the job done for the price, i will always stick with the Dakine bags they keep the water in them and dont leak all over the car

  • "It fits gear, you carry it"

    , BAYSIDE, NY
Pros: Two zipper main compartment, Cons: Thin padding,

I got a 165cm bag. It fits my 156 Sierra Crew with Burton Custom bindings. I can fit size 9 boots as well, along with my helmet in the middle. This bag works as intended.

  • "Love the design!"

    , marina del rey, CA
Pros: Strong material, Looks great, Cons:

I LOVE this bag, the plush plaid pattern is soo cute! I don't see many people with this bag, not sure why!

  • "Better Bring a Duffle Bag Tooo"

    , Tyrone, PA
Pros: Waterproof interior, Durable, heavy duty zipper, Cons: small pocket, need bigger size ,

I just bought this bag for my girlfreind and i have to say, its pretty sweet. The print does not scream girly yet has just enough atitude about it. the cheetah is cool bc it is reflective in the light. buy a large size though, because a 151 with bindings barely fit in a 155 bag. The pocket is small too. over all the bag is a cheap yet durable bag for anyone to use.

  • "Dakine Board Bag"

    , KALAMAZOO, MI
Pros: Easy to carry, Cons: Small,

I got this bag knowing that I would only be using it for a little bit of time during the snowboarding season. The main reason for it is to keep my snowboard clean until the next season. I don't necessarily need the extra room for goggles, and hat, and boots, but it would be nice to have if you were using the bag all of the time.

  • "Dakine Freestyle Bag"

    , AUBURN, NY
Pros: Cheap, Pocket, Cons: Padding extremely thin,

Decent product for the price. I bought the 165 and my 157 board with bindings on is a tight squeeze. Def no room for my boots. Padding is so thin it's almost pointless, but what do you want for $40. Pocket is nice to keep your goggles, gloves, hats and small accessories. Good bag for simple day trips and to protect your car and keep you from forgetting any small items at home.

  • "Alright bag..."

    , Fertile, MN
Pros: Cheap, stylish, Cons: on the small side, not much padding,

I got a 165cm bag for my 153 board, and it barely fit in there lengthwise. I can fit my board, bindings, boots, and other stuff (Gloves, goggles ect.) in there with few problems. This bag is perfect for a trip up to the local lodge on weekends, but I wouldn't recommend it for anything more than that.

  • "Not too durable"

    , SUNNYVALE, CA
    Pros: inexpensive, Cons: lacks durability,

As all the reviews say, it lacks padding. I bought this bag knowing that and planning to use it on a plane. I just stuff the bag with some extra clothes to pad, which also buys me more luggage space. My only complaint is that after two trips, I got a decent-sized rip in the bag. I've taped it up, and the rip doesn't appear to be growing, but I wouldn't expect this bag to last more than a few seasons of regular use.

  • "Runs Small"

    , Enfield, CT
Pros: Pockets, Cheap, Cons: Runs Small, No Padding,

Got a 157 for my 152 board with bindings and didn't fit, I would definently recommend going up two sizes for that extra room for bindings, helmet, jacket, pants etc. This will not only help in convenience but since this bag wasn't made for plane rides sizing up a lot will give you that extra space to pack in some cushion for a long flight. Other then that it offers pockets for little things which is a change from other inexpensive bags out there. Sent this one back for a different bag that was much bigger to fit more items in.

  • "Does the job"

    , SARATOGA, CA
Pros: Durable, Waterproof lining, Exterior pocket, Cons: Not much padding, Snug fit,

This is a good bag for short snow trips with friends. I was able to fit my board + bindings, boots, helmet, and accessories (gloves, goggles, mask) all in the bag. It was convenient to have everything in one place. I would not recommend for air travel as there is not much padding. I own a 144cm board and got the next size up (157), which I'm glad I did because the bag was a little snug for board+bindings.

  • "Dakine Freestyle Gear Bag"

    , Bellevue, WA
Pros: extra pockets, fits more than 1 board, Cons: travel protection,

Dakine Freestyle gear bag is a decent snowboard carry bag. It's convenient and easily fits snowboards, actually can fit some in there without bindings. Extra pockets for your tools or knickknacks. I wouldn't recommend for air travel unless it's beater board, it's not a hardcase.

  • "Dakine Freestyle Snowboard Bag 2010 "

    , OAKLAND, CA
Pros: Keep dust away from your board , Cons: wish the padding was a little thicker, need pocker for your google,

The bag does it job but wish there was bigger pockets to put my boot and goggle in. Great bag for people to go in and out on the weekends.

  • "Does Its Job"

    , Blacksburg, VA
Pros: Easy to use, light, pockets Cons: not much padding,

friend got this bag as part of a package. doesn't have much padding but we go up somewhere local so whats tha point? i dont even use a bag. has pockets for tools and whatever junk you wanta put in there. Relatively light and easy to carry your equipment in. Good product for the price. Recommended to riders who aren't going anywhere far away or traveling on buses, trains, airplanes, etc. you get tha idea.

  • "Decent"

    , AL
    Pros: simple, Cons: not padded,

This bag is decent for what it's meant to do. I would recommend that you buy a padded bag if you're going on an airplane and you don't want your board wrecked. But if you're just casually going upto the mountain in your car, and you don't want to get you car dirty, this would be great.

  • "Not a bag for flying on Airplanes."

    , AL
Pros: Waterproof Tarp lining, durable, Cons: No padding,

I've been using this gear bag for the past 2 years and don't have any issues with durability. However, this board bag isn't padded at all so all it really does is protect from scratches and dings when riding in a car. Wouldn't trust this thing on a plane though where they just toss things around. It's waterproof... and barely holds my boots and bindings and 1 board. I can fit my helmet in between bindings too. I bought the 166 and have a 153 board.

  • "Nice bag"

    , Rancho Cucamonga, CA
Pros: Durable, Great protection, Roomy Cons:

This is a great bag. It keeps the board protected from scratches and dings while it's sliding around the bed of my truck. It's held up really well and all of my extra fit perfectly!

  • "Not big enough"

    , Loftus, NSW
Pros: Distinctive colouring, Cons: Too small,

Only just fits my Sierra Crew 160 without bindings, I'm a bit disappointed. Took it on the plane to NZ and the board was fine but I would have felt more comfortable with some extra padding and somewhere to put my boots/bindings.

  • "Not what i expected"

    , STATEN ISLAND, NY
Pros: fits 2 boards without bindings, Cons: not enough padding,

i got this in the mail yesterday and it wasnt exactly what i hoped it would be. even though its not padded all around, i expected the padding on the bottom to be thicker. i was going to use this bag for plane trips but i dont think this bag can protect my board enough from the tosses. this bag would be good for road trips.
