SINA B: Hi there,

I bought this base last year. I use it with a 430 Chinook SDM mast using a chinook SDM extension. For this to be used with an RDM mast, you will need the RDM extension.

As for the board suitability, please note that the twist-on rubber is bolted to the base with a separate bolt and the actual bolt that goes into the windsurf slot is off-center. So that's why there is no separate base plate that comes with the gadget. However, I did get a separate base plate and after careful measuring I punctured a hole on the base plate such that after screwing the bolt it got aligned with the base plate. So you will have to watch out for this -- this is unlike the Euro-pins where the rubber and the bottom bolt is a single entity and aligned dead center. Hope this helps. --sina

Ernesto M: I don't know about the boards, but regarding the masts, you'll need a US base skinny mast extension. So this mast base can be used with both skinny and standard masts provided you have the right extension.

The only problem with this base is that the bolt that attaches to the board truck is not in the center of the base, so your mast will not be centered on the board.

Brad B: Yes, it will fit in your mast track without an issue. Do you have the mast extension that fits in the bottom of your mast? If you do, the base attaches to the extension, so you shouldn't have an issue. This base is universal with every extension I've seen (skinny and RDM).
I use this base with a skinny mast and a 94L Starboard.
