A shopper asked: is this a sticky repair tape no glue and clear? Oct 27, 2013
Lyle F: its like a clear vinyl sticker. very sticky and great for fixing smaller breaks in window panels. I fixed a one foot square area in the head panel of my 8.5 mistral comp sail. Spray paint on a gloss coat after. Could help reinforce from peeling up the bond for those real windy days or in swell conditions. good luck Nov 29, 2013
Mark E: Yes. It is clear and very sticky - be careful when you unroll it as it will stick to itself easily! - and you don't want to waste it. It is fairly thick and also very pliable and just a tad stretchy. It's not crinkly or brittle like packing tape. I used it to reconnect a monofilm panel to the batten pocket. Nov 30, 2013
Andrew J: Yes, this tape is peel and stick (no glue required). Also, yes, it is clear. For best results, make sure your hands are clean when using to avoid getting dirt on the sticky side. Tape is very durable and I've had good luck with it. Nov 30, 2013
John K: Yes, I used it on both sides of my sail. It's clear and has adhesive on the tape--like package sealing tape only bigger and stronger. I'm satisfied with the repair. Nov 30, 2013
Martin L F: Yes, I've used some on my windsurf sails and they've held now for the last 2 seasons of windsurfing once a week all summer. It has held up nice. Nov 30, 2013
howard h: Yes, the tape works great. There's no glue, it's clear, and I went sailing immediately after putting it on and it stayed in place. Nov 29, 2013
Dean G: Yes, it is clear and requires no glue. We applied to both sides of the sail, and has held up surprisingly well. Dec 1, 2013
Jeffrey R: The tape is sticky- no glue required. It's clear (transparent), and works very well. Nov 29, 2013
