The last thing you want to have happen is you pull out your sail and find a hole in it that could sideline your plans for a day playing on the water. If you keep the Chinook Sail Repair Monofilm Tape handy, you can patch up a small hole before it can become a large tear that would take the wind right out of your adventure. Made of mylar, this tape is just right to seal up any breaks so you'll be able to catch the next breeze and enjoy your ride rather than be left on the bank.

good tape to do repairs on windsurf sails, it really sticks to the surface to be fix, a little bit to unroll but that it is the nature of the product, to be sticky, so good product this tape.

Great tape for repairing mono film sails. Strong repairs and fast. Just slap a piece on each side of the tear and get back out there.

is this a sticky repair tape no glue and clear?

Best Answer: its like a clear vinyl sticker. very sticky and great for fixing smaller breaks in window panels. I fixed a one foot square area in the head panel of my 8.5 mistral comp sail. Spray paint on a gloss coat after. Could help reinforce from peeling up the bond for those real windy days or in swell conditions. good luck
