"Toasty Warm"
Pros: Warm, Snug, Doesnt stink (can use em all week)
Cons:
A little tight towards the upper leg but it fits your feet like they were made just for you. Your feet will never go cold and you can board all day.
-
"Very warm and comfy socks"
Pros: Very comfortable, Keeps foot warm,
Cons: n/a,
THis sock does what I wanted it to do. Kept my foot and warm and the length kept my foot tight without any rubbing inside my snowboarding boot. Highly recommended as its very comfortable, i even bought some for my wife and son.
-
"Warmth"
Pros: comfort,
Cons: Little Small,
The socks are extremely comfortable, just a little small. I got a Medium but it fits like a Large small.
-
"Nice Sock"
Pros: Comphy, Warm, Not too thick
Cons:
Nice sock that keeps my feet warm without being too thick.
I have a problem of ripping the heels out of my socks, and these show no signs of rippage.
I have an expensive pair of Stance socks that ripped after only a few times out.
-
"Never feel cold"
Pros: great fit,
Cons: a little bit more thick,
When I'm in constant activity my feet sweat a lot, so this sock did get pretty easy wet in my boots. But this is just because of me, not everybody feet sweat so much. So I prefer thinner sock, so they cannot absorb and hold moisture for long.
-
"i love em"
Pros: stay up, warm,
Cons: $20,
i got these socks for christmas last year and they are awesome. i wear them almost everywhere! around the house, to the store, and believe it or not, in a couple baseball games. well i use them the most for snowboarding though. a lot of socks that i had before these would slip down constantly while i was riding and i would keep having to pull them up. i went out about 10 times last year and they did not fall down once. these also keep your feet warm without having such thick fabric, which was a pleasant surprise. i was riding in northern michigan and its not like it was spring riding either, and my feet stayed nice and warm. the only bad thing about these was that they were $20 which is a little bit expensive for a pair of socks, so i am very glad that i got these for christmas.
-
"Very very warm"
Pros: Warm , Comfortable, Protects legs
Cons:
After not boarding for years and recently picking it up again last year, I found myself in need of some tall socks after my boots were irritating the fronts of my legs. These socks solved the problem and not to mention kept my feet very warm throughout a long day of riding.
-
"Great sock"
Pros: Comfortable, Breatheable, Warm
Cons:
I've tried other socks in this fit/price range and this have been by far the best ones I've used. They fit well, keep your digits toasty even lets them breathe easily. My only gripe is that they probably only last about one season with a riding of prob 20 full days. But otherwise a legit pair of socks.
-
"Burton Buffer won't let you down!"
Pros: Very comfortable, High quality, Warm, but not too warm
Cons: None,
I've ridden with these socks for the past 2 seasons. Very comfortable and warm, but not overly hot. I wear a size 9.5 and I went with the large. They fit perfect. I bought 6 pairs of these because I got such a good deal on them and I'm glad I did. I have over 30 days on just 1 pair and they are still holding up just fine. I'd recommend these to anyone. You will not be disappointed. They are very high quality.
-
"Great socks!"
Pros: Warm, Not too thick, but not too thin....just right., Awesome socks!
Cons: Frayed after minor use but not falling apart, Kind of expensive,
These socks are warm but not thick enough to bunch up in your boots. I bought two pairs and both pairs frayed a little in the area just above my ankle after very minimal use. The fraying hasn't caused either pair to fall apart but for the price I was somewhat disappointed.
-
"Good, but not great"
Pros: Comfy, Warm, They don't bunch up in the toes
Cons: Price,
I picked up a pair at MC Sports for $9 during an end of the season sale. They're a good sock, but I don't see where they're any better than any other brand. I actually prefer the comparable FoxRiver socks. The Burton Buffer Socks will keep you warm and dry, but I wouldn't spend $20 for them. I will buy another pair if I can find them cheap enough, but otherwise I'll buy another brand.
-
"Great sock"
Pros: Good support, Not too thin, not too thick
Cons:
This sock is a god all around sock, with the little strips of extra material ontop you get extra support over a traditional sock. The support makes it good in all situations, from park to big mountain. The sock fits pretty standard, although I found my last pair to be a tad smaller than usual. It has the thickness to keep your foot warm, but the thinness to stay comfortable. I've used this sock from 0*F to 60*F and from jib jams to backcountry, and it's never let me down.
-
"Nice and Warm"
Pros: Warm, Keeps your feet dry, Comfortable
Cons: Price,
These kept my feet warm and dry during my entire day of snowboarding.
-
"Nice and Warm/Not too thick"
Pros: Warm, Neat Design,
Cons: Too small,
These socks are pretty nice. They didn't really fit my feet as expected, but this may be because I have a pretty wide foot. They were not as thick as most thermal socks are but they still kept me feet just about as warm as the other socks, without crushing my foot within my boot. I would recommend these socks to just about anyone but if you have a wide foot, I would recommend going a size larger than you usually wear.
-
"Amazing socks"
Pros: Keeps you dry, keep you warm, amazing
Cons: perfect sock,
I own a buncha pairs of sock but the burtons are my favorite. I have never had a problem with the socks at all. always keep you warm and dry and of course have a nice design on most of them as well.
-
"Good but pricey"
Pros: Warm, Dry, Comfortable
Cons: Price,
These are good socks. They fit me perfectly and kept me warm and dry the whole day. Theyre also comfortable, with the padding helping with the bots pressure points. The only thing keeping these from being a great sock is the price..foor a pair of socks I find the price really high.
-
"decent socks, could be thicker"
Pros: look good, keeps my feet dry, comfortable
Cons: a little thin,
These socks are pretty good, used them once to board. They kept my feet dry and warm, wish they were just a tad bit thicker and they'd be perfect. Otherwise great socks
-
"All around awesome"
Pros: Warm, Dry, Snug fit
Cons:
Just an all around good sock, tough to compare it but compared to my other pair of cheap wool socks, these are much more comfortable and warm.
-
"great socks!"
Pros: warm, comfortable, dry
Cons:
keeps my feet warm and dry...cant ask for more. The padding is well designed as well
-
"decent socks"
Pros: warm, soft, good padding for the boots,
Cons: maybe a little thin, price.,
i wore these socks for about a season so far and they get the job done. they are warm and comfortable, but some may find them a bit thin in a few areas. personally i like the way they fit...they dont bunch up at all and the padding on top stops irritation that i once used to get from consecutive days of riding. overall a good sock, worth the buy.
-
"Wow! I guess there is a difference!"
Pros: warm, cushion,
Cons: price?,
They were $15, and they were on sale... It may be a bit more for socks then I would want to pay for, but I think they are worth it. For the longest time, I would wear thick wool socks. But, after wearing these, I can totally tell the difference. They have padding or thicker weaves in specific areas, like the heel and shin and keep you dry like wool, but the plus is also they dont slip around as much as wool socks.
Try one, you might be like me and order more. ;-)
-
"Good and not to expensive"
Pros: Extra padding,
Cons: Shrink,
Great socks and didnt hold any moisture. I like the buffer part of the sock. It provides that extra padding that my boots dont. I did manage to shrink them some in the dryer but that could have been a user error and not due to the socks
-
"Burton Socks"
Pros: Good Fit, Comfortable,
Cons: Thin, Not durable,
The socks fit pretty well and are comfortable. I've only worn them 3 times and already have a hole in the heel. Would not recommend.
-
"Great Socks"
Pros: great fit, comfy, warm
Cons:
As with most Burton socks, these are great. Warm, comfy, fit snug, and dont fall down after a day of riding.
-
"Warm and comfy"
Pros: warm, breathable, no annoying seam
Cons:
Great socks. Keep your feet warm and breath nicely when they get hot. No annoying seams. All in all a good pair of socks.
-
"burton buffer-solid sock"
Pros: warm , dry, nice fit
Cons: a little too expensive,
i got a pair of these a few weeks ago and finally wore them. they got a great fit and keep your feet warm and dry all day. they are kinda expensive but they get the job done.
-
"Great socks"
Pros: warm,
Cons:
Great fit, warm, well made, extra cushion is great.
-
"Burton Buffer socks"
Pros: Warm,
Cons: Expensive, Not very padded, Quite Thick
When I picked these up I figured the shin and the top of your foot would have some kind of padding added to it. But it really doesn't. The sock is just thicker, no special padding is added. It's a fairly warm sock, but wasn't what I expected from a padding aspect. I don't think its worth 15 bucks, if you wanted well padded socks, I wouldn't look at these. They aren't padded, just thick.
-
"Decent Sock"
Pros: Comfortable, Warm,
Cons: Worth about $10 imo,
Nice and warm socks that work on cold days, would probably buy again.
-
"Good for warmer climate"
Pros: Comfortable,
Cons: Thin, Sides are like tights rather than socks,
The socks were ok but didnt like the fact that they were so thin on the sides, almost can see skin through them. I would recommend them for more warmer climates.
-
"THE best sock"
Pros: Comfy, Love the extra padding,
Cons: none,
I bought these socks at the local shop. They make your legs and feet feel like a million bucks all day long. Perfect fit, feet stayed warm, and the extra cush is perfect if you have stiff boots.
-
"Good Socks"
Pros: Warm, Keeps your feet dry,
Cons: expensive,
They kept my feet warm and dry the entire day of snowboarding, but they cost too much
-
"Great! "
Pros: warm , comfy, extra pads
Cons:
This is a great pair of socks. I brought it for a friend but I ended up wearing it myself. It is a little big for me-- women size M but I guess it is just right for male sizing. There are extra pads on the shin and I really like this design. I am not sure if they have the woman's version.
-
"The Bee's Knees"
Pros: Boot Cushion Pads, Upgrade from my foursquare lightweight socks,
Cons: They're $16,
Bought these because I needed an extra pair. So nice, I bought twice. These are now my everyday riding socks.
-
"Warm and Comfortable"
Pros: Doesnt get wet, comfort,
Cons: expensive,
Is pricey for a pair of socks but they are worth it. Kept me warm and comfortable
-
"Nice Socks!"
Pros: Comfortable, Very Dry, Good Fit
Cons:
These socks are really amazing. They keep your feet nice and dry and they are really comfortable to wear.
-
"SUPER WARM SOCKS"
Pros: WARM, CHEAP, STYLISH
Cons:
super warm socks, they kept my toesies warm all winter long, it's my second season using them and I love them. Might have to buy another pair ;)
-
"Burton Buffer Snowboard Socks"
Pros: Comfy, Price,
Cons: None,
Super Nice pair of socks. Doesn't feel much different from other Burton socks.
and also not TOO thick that you cannot wear it with normal shoes.
Buy
-
"Pretty Good"
Pros: Fits Snugly, Warm, Cushions Well
Cons: Restrictive Cuff, Durability,
I've owned three pairs of these so far despite the three star review. They're fairly inexpensive and get the job done, warm and comfortably. My only gripe is that the heel wears out after about a season (20-30 days) and the upper cuff is restrictive and leaves crazy deep red marks in my calves but that might not be a problem if you have smaller or normal size calves.
-
"Pretty good socks"
Pros: comfortable,
Cons:
I just got this last week and wore for the ride last night at whitetail, PA. I used to wear soccer socks to keep myself warm. It is actually comfortable. But socks would not be exposed to others because of pants, I feel like soccer socks work as same.
-
"warm and comfy"
Pros: warm, comfy,
Cons:
these socks are super warm and super comfy, what more could you ask for in socks?
-
"awesome"
Pros: Warm, Stays dry, Well padded
Cons: Expensive,
These socks are great and worth the cost. The snowboard boot pressure points are well padded. The fabric does not get sweaty. They are the warmest, most comfortable ski/snowboard socks I've ever worn.
-
"Snuggies for your feet!"
Pros: soft, dry, comfy
Cons:
These socks are great. Fits well and keeps your feet dry all day. One of my favorite socks.
-
"Sexy Socks"
Pros: Comfy, Padded, Warm
Cons:
Nicest Socks out there man, nice and padded where they need to be. very warm never get cold feet, nice and long. i never got a blister...but thats usually the boot that gives it to you.
-
"Burton Buffer Snowboard Socks "
Pros: Warm, Comfortable, Good padding
Cons: Blister on my ankle,
Good socks, kept me warm and toasty all day. The padding on the top of the foot was nice. My only problem was that I got a blister on my ankle which i've never gotten before. Not sure if this has to be worn in a bit. Other than that, no other issues.
-
"Burton Buffer"
Pros: Warm, Comfortable,
Cons: Nothing, they are socks,
These are my first pair of specific purpose socks. Other than dress socks of course. I was under the impression that a sock is a sock and there wasn't much need for a special pair for snowboarding, especially a pair > $10. Boy was I wrong. These socks are awesome. The fit is spectacular and they are really warm. Not too the point that they will become uncomfortably warm after a few hours but just right. The padding in the shin is a welcomed surprise as well, feels really nice in my boot.
Although these are my first, they certainly will not be my last pair.
-
"I Love These Socks"
Pros: Lots of colors, very soft, warm/cushioned
Cons: Never bought snowboard socks... , Expensive compare to regular socks,
I own three of these socks. I love them. One pair does me good for the day.
Perhaps it's my boots, but my feet do start to get a little bit cold a later in the day. Just a bit. I don't really think about it much.
-
"pretty sickkk"
Pros: snug fit, good thickness, warm and dry
Cons:
These socks keep you warm and dry, but not too warm so your feet won't get sweaty. They fit snug and got padding on all the places you need so you won't be in any pain after shredding. Digging the design as well!
-
"Good Essential"
Pros: Extra padding,
Cons: Coulld be made for better warmth,
These are warm socks but could be better. I bought these because my girlfriend suggested it. If its super(sub zero-low single digits), you will need bootwarmers, but these are one of the warmer pairs you will find. The extra padding is nice for the shin and was needed for me. If you feel like your boots are nice but you want some more padding, these will help! Beats your grandmother's wool socks.
-
"Comfy"
Pros: Warm, Soft, Perfect fit
Cons:
Very nice warm socks, cant get many socks better than these. Top notch.
-
"Pillows on my feet"
Pros: Comfortable, Warm,
Cons: Shrink,
These socks are great. They keep your feet warm and are very comfortable. However after you wash these socks many times they will shrink in certain places and are a bit of a struggle to put on but once they are on they fit great. Overall an amazing product.
-
"very warm"
Pros: very warm, soft, moisture wicking
Cons: a little too thick,
these socks keep your feet very warm and dry. they are a little thick, so makes for a semi-tight fit with my burton boots.
-
"Very comfy"
Pros: comfy, warm, nice fit
Cons:
Ever since I started wearing these socks, I haven't experienced any foot or toe numbness. They fit seamlessly inside the boot and help eliminate those pressure points. They keep my feet nice and dry. Very comfortable and snazzy looking.
-
"Worth the $20 MSRP"
Pros: Warm, Comfortable, Eliminated heel lift in my boots
Cons: Expensive,
These socks are really nice. MY old socks were kind of old, so they were getting thin and were allowing my heel to lift up in my boots. These socks eliminated that problem and are also really soft, so they feel nicer on my feet. They have more fabric in the shin area too to kind of pad the tongue of the boot. They also seem to give good arch support to my feet.
-
"Super Comfy!"
Pros: Warm, Comfortable, Nice Fit
Cons:
They kept me warm and comfortable. A+ in my book.
