Description: Burton Pyro Gloves

Full features at a five-finger discount. Premium weatherproof warmth and touchscreen tech that won''t scorch your savings.

There have been lots of stories with pyromaniacs in them. But the “Trashcan Man” is one of the best. He’s from The Stand, a film by Steven King, and plays a significant role. However, before he gets to the climactic ending, his story begins with a few disfigurements due to his fascination with fire. One of those is a gimp hand that awkwardly points away from his body at a 90-degree angle. The Burton Pyro Glove won’t mutate you into a movie freak, but it might draw similar attention. You’ll be doing all kinds of hot moves thanks the horrifyingly waterproof combo of its DRYRIDE Ultrashell™ 2L fabric and DRYRIDE Insane Membrane™. You’ll be fired up, too, with the Thermacore™ insulation and moisture-wicking fleece lining. And finally, you’ll melt your face as you surf your apps with the total touchscreen control of the Screen Grab® leather palm and fingers. No really, it will all happen like that.

Key Features of Burton Pyro Gloves:
  • Screen Grab® Toughgrip™ Palm for Total Touchscreen Control
  • Dryride Ultrashell™ 2-Layer Fabric
  • Waterproof Dryride Insane Membrane™ 1.0
  • Thermacore™ Insulation
  • Fixed Fleece Lining
  • Ergonomic Pre-Curved Fit

I'm looking for a gauntlet style glove for warm weather snowboarding, something waterproof yet won't make my hands sweat?
A shopper on Mar 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi,

these are great gloves but might get a little hot and sweaty during the warmer days on the mountain. I would recommend checking out the Burton Baker mittens. The Baker features a venting system to keep your hands cool, as well as a liner that you can wear separately for those really warm days.

We also have the glove version in womens, which are more of a gender neutral style, men or women could rock these. Check them out here: http://www.the-house.com/bt6bak2104ccs16zz-burton-snowboard-gloves.html
Do these gloves have good insulation?
A shopper on Jan 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: They do. Thermacore insulation.
