  • "great for the price"

    , LITTLETON, CO
    Pros: warm, dry hands, Cons:

There is room for liners and hot hands on cold days. They kept my hands dry. They aren't too bulky

  • "I love mittens"

    , Chicago, IL
Pros: waterproof !, warm, cheap as hell :-D Cons: no cons,

I compare to my other pair of burton gore womens and I prefer the profile ones. They are comfy, enough space to put additional lining, waterproof and nice loking. I wouldn't change them for gore (expensive!)

  • "my favorite pair of mittens"

    , STATEN ISLAND, NY
Pros: very warm!, waterproof, 2 layered (fleece and softshell) Cons:

I ruined last year's version one day when I threw them in my bag while it was still wet. The fuzzy part of them started to deteriorate. Thank god for the awesome sale! I picked up a pair of approach and profile mittens. I didn't like how the profile's liner is attached to the shell. I ride during the spring so I usually ride without the fleece layer. The approach keeps my hand super warm on very cold days! I've never needed to use hand warmers.

Tina M: I don't know if the Profile or Approach mitten is warmer but I can say that the Approach mitten has been great. I'm a bit of a freeze baby, especially when it comes to fingers and toes and the Approach mittens have not let me down. I've been boarding in northern MN and CO with them with no problems. Angelina K: I've never tried the profile, but I have had the approach for a couple years and they are great. I honestly can't think of one day when they haven't kept my fingers toasty, and they've been through some tough weather. Jan 29, 2014

chad b: Any type of mitten if warmer than a glove with fingers. I like approach better. It's more of a preference though. And with mittens you can always add extra lining under the mittens to add warmth. Jan 29, 2014

Jon D: I believe the Approach is. It does have a glove fleece lining which makes it hard to use hand warmer though. Jan 29, 2014
