Like a windproof, sub-zero sleeping bag tailored to your hands. Don't get caught in the backcountry without these.
By combining the collective heating power of Triple Goose Down, a whopping 15 ounces of PrimaLoft Insulation, and a Hydrofil wicking fleece liner, the Burton [ak] Oven Mitt is basically the warmest snowboard mitt on the planet. It fights moisture on both fronts thanks to ultra-breathable WINDSTOPPER ripstop fabric from Gore. And so riders like Terje Haakonsen and Jussi Oksanen don't feel like they're wearing boxing gloves, a super ergonomic fit ensures total dexterity when strapping in or twisting throttles. Undermitt styling means a low-profile cuff that easily slides underneath your jacket's sleeves. If you are one who is always cold or spends a lot of time in the backcountry far from shelter, then the [ak] Oven Mitt isn't nice to have, it's a necessity.

I purchased these gloves because I have really poor hand circulation. If my hands even get a little cold while snowboarding, it can turn into a big problem. However, while wearing these I can spend all day on the hill and be perfectly fine. They're windproof, waterproof and the only glove or mitt I will ever wear. The awesome thing about these is that they feel like you're wearing a glove, so it doesn't feel like it's constricting your hand movement or anything like that. 100 percent quality! And even though they're a little pricey, if you have poor hand circulation or if your hands get cold easy or if you won't settle for anything less than the best, then these are for you. I recommend them 100 percent and if mine somehow get destroyed or if I somehow lose them, I will order these again.
