Jim K asked: Money not important, bag to be used for ski boots plus all accessories, is this the best? Aug 7, 2013

Matt GStaff: Hey Jim, that's a pretty good question. The answer depends on what the main purpose for the bag will be. Is it for traveling by plane, or is it for a place to store your gear in your car on the way to the mountain?

Burton has really stepped up the quality and functionality of their bags over the last few season. The Burton Wheelie Sub Travel Bag has a simple design, it's damn near indestructible, and it's absolutely massive.

If you're looking to put in boots, snow pants, snow jacket, helmet, goggles, gloves, baselayer, neck gator, socks and other random odds and ends you'll have room to spare - it's a whopping 121L! Here's the kicker, if you baggage check the Wheelie Sub, and it's packed with a weeks worth of clothes/gear, expect to pay the additional baggage weight charges. The bag has a weight of 13 lb. and with such ample space to fill it's easy to load on weight. Over all The Wheelie Sub is a great bag for long trips that demand volume and wheels.

If you need a bag to haul boots and a few accessories to the mountain check out the Dakine Boot Locker >> http://www.the-house.com/da5bool69bk14zz-dakine-boot-bags.html

The Boot Locker is 69L of split level bliss and it's easy to carry.
