Wondering about the differences between the Burton Wheelie Locker and the Wheelie Board Bags. From what I can tell, the Wheelie Locker has the telescoping handle and a spine; other than the size & weight, are there any other differences?
Ben R on Dec 10, 2014
Best Answer: I have had the wheelie gig bag for several seasons, just purchased the wheelie locker, I would rather have purchased another gig bag the wheelie gig bag, i can fit more in the gig bag because the initial bag is lighter, the airline weight restriction won't allow me to load up the locker with all my gear.
I carry a regular and a split board and the gear that goes along with split boarding.

But that said the locker is an awesome bag, I would also suggest if you can some how weigh your gear you would pack and add the bag weight which should be listed under the bag specs. If you are around the airlines weight limit, you'd be good to go

Does the telescoping handle run the length of the bag when collapsed? (serving as the spine of the bag?)
Ben R on Dec 8, 2014
Best Answer: So the Wheelie Locker has a spine, but the Wheelie Board does not? Do they have the same plastic guards at the ends of the bag for protection as well? Wondering if there are any other differences besides the size & weight, and the spine & handle?

what is the weight?
A shopper on Nov 8, 2014
Best Answer: I don't have a specific weight for the Burton Wheelie Locker but I do own one and they don't weigh much.
I load mine with 2 boards, 2 pair of bindings, 1 pair of boots, jacket, pants, goggles, tune kit and a bunch of miscellaneous small stuff without ever going over the 75 pound weight limit at the airline.
