Claudia B: Only if you wrap your board in padding.I would wrap it in clothes you plan to take with you, i.e. your puffy parka or insulated pants.Otherwise it is a great sturdy bag to chuck in the back of the pickup! Jan 7, 2014

Lonni W: It's pretty thick canvas but there is no padding on the bag itself. It is quite roomy though so you can put in some of your gear (pants, jacket, etc) to act as extra cushion. Jan 7, 2014

Kathleen K: Probably not . It is not padded. And the way the airlines handles baggage your board would not be protected enough. This bag is good for prevention of sratches Jan 7, 2014

Nadine D: The bag is pretty durable; as far as protecting a board for flight, I would say yes, especially if you pack gear around the board for added protection. Jan 8, 2014

A shopper asked: Would this bag be a good bag to put my board in for a flight to colorado? Aug 8, 2013

Matt GStaff: If you're only planning to pack your boots, gloves, goggles, and beanie along with your board/bindings the Burton Space Sack Bag will be fine.

If you want to pack more in that bag, you'll thank yourself later for getting a larger volumed bag with wheels. Check this Burton Wheelie Gig Bag out >>
