Description: Burton Gig Snowboard Bag True Black Neon Camo 166
Snowboard protection is everything when travelling from place to place - the Burton brand kept that in mind when they created the Burton Gig Snowboard Bag. This bag is polyester-made and measures 12 x 9 inches, more than enough to put boards of varying sizes. Most importantly, there is also padded board protection, so scuffs do not become a prominent issue. "Tight fit on lib tech 165 wide board"
Has layer of padding all over the bag. Not as thick as I thought it would be but it is better than the TSA and handlers tossing an unpadded bag around. I may add bubble wrap also. My 165 lib tech skunk ape wide with xl k2 iPO company bindings but it was a tight fit. Maybe I could fit some snow pants in but that is about it. Exterior pocket is not padded.
"Decent snowboard bag"
I got this as a gift few years back. With the padding, the bag basically can hold and protect my gear. It comes in different sizes and I had the one that actually had a pretty good fit to my board. However, that makes it lose its compacity. I can fit my board with bindings on, my boots, helmet, goggles and protective gear insid, but not my clothes and my snowboard jacket. The design of the bag is thick in the middle and thin on the tips which makes it easier to carry with the shoulder strap, but it holds less. The goggle compartment is quite nicely padded. The bag is quite durable, as its been through 5 years of snowtrips since I bought it. But with the price I'd rather get a bag with wheels out there. It's a good bag after all.
"Simple Bag, But GREAT!"
I was not looking for anything too extravagant, so this bag works great. The one pocket is big enough to fit all of my small stuff and everything else fits in with the board. I have not yet taken it on an airplane, but it has survived two seasons..... Worth the money to keep your board safe and your stuff in one place.
"BUrton Gig Bag"
Great bag. I place two boards (no bindings), two bindings, boots, clothes and a bunch of miscellaneous items in this bag whenever I travel to board. The only down side is that it gets heavy and there are no wheels. But there is an option of this bag with wheels so that resolves both of the Cons I have for this item. Never had an issue with any of my equipment being damaged in this bag.
