Pros: Zippers are good quality, Fits my text and notebooks for school, Cons: Material feels cheap, Laptop sleeve is too small for 15.6 or 17 inch,

I personally was a little disappointed with this backpack. I bought my first Day Hiker bag around eight? years ago. I used that backpack until this year, when the zippers finally gave out. Because that one had worked so well for me for so long, for both school and riding, I decided to stick with the same bag. When I first took it out of the plastic, I felt that the material felt much thinner and cheaper than my previous bag. It seemed a little wider, however the laptop sleeve could not fit my new 15.6 inch laptop, while the old one could. The padding on the shoulder straps was much stiffer and not as comfortable. There were a few pros I found with this bag. First, I liked the amount of space the bag has, it can fit plenty of gear on the mountain, and hold all my books for class. I liked that it offers the same vertical board carry, and I liked that they moved the goggle pocket inside the main compartment. The bag is pretty lightweight, however I think that is because of the change in material. The zippers did seem to be of the same quality when I compared the two bags. Overall, it is a decent bag at a reasonable price, however it did not live up to my expectations of previous models. I would recommend a different bag.
