Burton society women's pants
These were horrible! Ripped on the first time using them. On the first hill of the day. I will not be buying these again. Not even remotely good quickly.

Great fit and Durable
These pants have a great fit and the perfect amount of insulation. I also appreciate that they are durable because I fall a lot. Highly recommended.

I tried on an extra large in a retail store. I am short and thought the fit might work in a large. I also like the styling with pockets in back. i ski but I prefer the look of snowboard pants.

Is the color hex a blue or black?
Sasha M on Dec 10, 2013
Best Answer: The pants in colour hex are closer to indigo colour (somewhat bluish purple). It is definitely not black. The colour is very nice. The pants are also super comfortable and warm.

What is the difference between this pant and the 2014 society? I tried the 2014 on in the store and I loved them so I would really like to know why these are cheaper???
A shopper on Jan 14, 2014
Best Answer: Matt, is the fit similar? Large fit well in the 2014 and I'm wondering if the 2013 will work as well. Also, is the hex color really more blue than black?

I live in Colorado and temperatures can get pretty low and windy... will these be warm enough with one base layer? What temperatures (if any) were these tested in and recommended for best use and comfort/ keeping warm?
leslie l on Jan 13, 2015
Best Answer: Hi Leslie,
These Burton Society pants are insulated with 40g thinsulate. With one base layer you will be quite warm.

Are they true to size? I bought a pair of RIDE pants and the large is too big. I bought a Large DC pants and they fit perfect.
Kimmy on Nov 22, 2013
Best Answer: Hi Kim,

There is no "True to Size" standardization that is used across the entire industry. Each company has different fit styles and measurements that represent what they feel each size should be. For instance, take a look at the size large measurements for RIDE and DC Women's Pants below:

Ride Women's Pants - Large
Waist: 31-33"
Hip: 38-40"
Inseam: 31.5-32.5"

DC Women's Pants - Large
Waist: 28-29.5"
Hip: 39"
Inseam: 32.5"

Notice that RIDE and DC label their pants as larges, but are VERY different in measurements - That's why your RIDE pants fit too big and that your DC pants fit perfect.

Onto the Burton Society Snowboard Pants... The Society in size large will fit similar to your DC pants, check out the Burton Society Snowboard Pant measurements below:

Burton Society Snowboard Pant - Large
Waist: 29-30"
Hip: 40-41"
Inseam: 32"
