  • "mascot poachers are sweet"

    , creve coeur, MO
Pros: nice color, good fit, great price Cons: wish they had more vents like my analog pants do,

I just purchased them.. great price and overall I'm very happy with them. Wish they had a few more vents. Love the color.. not as crazy neon as the analog green pair I already own.. look great with my gray revert jacket.

  • "Muy básicos"

    , Miami, FL

These pants are really durable, i've put over 100 days on them, but they lose their waterproof rating FAST, so that explains the low cost...

  • "Great pants"

    , AL
Pros: Very warm, Comfortable, Cons: More baggy than I like, Only one cargo pocket,

These pants are great. They're a little baggier than I expected them to be, but they're not too baggy. The only complaint I have about these pants is that they only have one cargo pocket, other than that, these pants are perfect!

Pros: Warm, Look Sick (Got em in Green), good price (only 120) :) Cons: A little baggy,

First day of riding was yesterday, and what can i say? They did their job. They were a little baggier than i thought they were going to be but they are very adjustable. They are very warm, good pants and a decent price too.

Pros: stay dry, look great, comfortable Cons: baggy,

I got these pants last week for Christmas. My first impression was that they were sort of baggy (they have adjustments inside and they are fine length-wise). They are comfortable and look amazing. They do their job just fine and keep you looking stylish. I have no real complaints and would recommend them to any snowboarder looking for nice pants.

  • "Great for me (beginner)"

    , Mount Airy, MD
Pros: Water/wind proof and warm!, Ideal pocket locations, Subtle style means you're not a plain jane! Cons: Fit was a bit too big, The bottoms drag on the ground unless rolled up,

This is a very nice snow pant at an amazing value. I have the black/grey plaided ones and I love them. They are the first pair of snowpants I've bought, but compared to the ones I've rented they are a lot more comfortable. The pockets are ideally placed and there are vents as well but sometimes I mistake the vents for pockets... not a big deal really. I have some thunder thighs but I still got a size down (L instead of XL) and they fit great. There are no drawstrings or anything on the bottom so unless they are rolled up they will drag on the ground; it doesn't seem to affect much but I roll them up to not damage the bottoms.

    Pros: affordable, quality, style Cons:

the airline lost one of my bags during a trip to CO. of course it was the bag with my riding clothes... went to the local shop and picked up a pair of these poacher pants being as they were relatively inexpensive. They performed great and they look and fit good as well. i'am 5'8 150lbs and the small fit perfect. the length is what i was most happy with, didn't have to worry about stepping on the hems the way i usually do. Kept me dry and comfy the whole time.

  • "Great Pants!"

    , FORT MILL, SC
Pros: Good Fit, Very Dry, Nice Features Cons: Could be warm for late season riding,

I just got these pants last week before heading out on a boarding trip to Tahoe. For the last four days it has been dumping powder non-stop. These pants have kept me warm and dry through the whole trip! They don't have a very baggy fit but they still give you a ton of room to move around. The pockets are a nice size give you plenty of functional space. My only possible con would be that these pants could be a little on the warm side for late season or warm day riding. But they do have the mesh vents to keep the swamp monster away if that becomes a problem. All and All, this is a great pair of pants. A must buy, especially at the sale price.

  • "Burton Poachers"

    , Somerville, MA
Pros: Comfortable, Light, Many pockets Cons: A little baggy, Expensive,

These pants are amazing!!! The size fits perfectly and they're very light. The material feels really good and durable and there are many pockets all around the pair of pants. The only thing that is an issue is that they are a little baggy, but then again I am a little short so it's probably only an issue with me. Overall they are a fantastic pair of pants for snowboarding, but they're a little expensive.

  • "So comfortable, never cold, never hot"

    , Norfolk, VA
Pros: Warm, Relaxed fit, soft Cons: Can't attach lift ticket to the side pocket,

I love these pants! I have a Burton Launch jacket in the Mascot Big Stripe color to match this, and I love the combo. These pants don't get too hot to wear, and I never have to layer with them to stay warm. A pair of LAX shorts and away I go. The pocket on the side is nice, but it'd be better if I could hook my lift ticket to it since I like to switch jackets throughout the day.

  • "Does its job"

    , rockville, MD
Pros: Good waterproofing, Semi-warm, Cons: Very baggy,

These pants are pretty good. They do run a little big. They are also extremely baggy. But, they are waterproofed well (haven't noticed any leaks which I'm basing on my sweatpants) and the pockets are protected pretty well, so you can put electronics in them if you wish. They are somewhat warm, but need extra layering anywhere its below like 25 degrees. I usually wear a pair of sweatpants under them and are fine. Overall, good pants!

  • "Great Pants"

    , AL
    Pros: Vents, Cons:

I'm not going to lie, I got these pants because my mom felt like spoiling me for a day, I don't even like Burton that much, usually their stuff is over priced, but I really like these pants, they fit great. I usually buy my stuff a little bigger, but these fit a little slimmer, which isn't all that bad. I also haven't had a problem with them and I have worn them on cold, warm, and rainy days, and they work perfectly for all of the conditions I have worn them in.

  • "Gets Work Done"

    , Blacksburg, VA
Pros: Zip up pockets, Mesh Vents on the Inside Legs, Adjustable waistband Cons: ...not many, not insulated (who cares? wear long john's), only one cargo pocket (who cares...)

Awesome pant, warm, very water resistant. Sizing - if your in-between sizes def go with the down size. I wear a medium normally. My waist is about a 30 and the Med is loose around me. But i think a small would be too short in the legs. Nice zip up pockets and the insides of the pockets are nice and fuzzy and warm:) Pretty durable so far, I've hit my knees on the ice in my back yard I don't know how many times. I thought they ripped but nothing, not a scratch. The bottoms of the legs are nice cause they have a stretchy waist band type thing that is wrapped in a rubber/silicone so the snow and water don't get up in your pants and boots which is probably the most over-looked thing but I think its the most helpful. Who wants a bunch of snow on there ankles and feet to freeze them and ruin their day? The cargo pocket has this nice double Velcro goin so your wallet or whatever valuables you have don't slip out or fly out when you eat the snow. There's also an ID pocket in there so when they find your body they can tell who you are:) haha. The normal side pockets also have a little cut out hole to run your ipod headphones thru which is great for hiding your headphone cord if your resort doesn't allow you to listen to music when you ride (this is the case at my local ski resort, it sucks but whatever). Overall I highly recommend this product esp at the unbelievably low price!

  • "Great for warmer days"

    , Cabramatta, NSW
Pros: zippable ventilation mesh, waist adjustability, good waterproofing and comfy Cons: too long,

Looks good, I got the absynth color. Quite thin but good for warmer days. I found the waist loose even with adjustable straps and the length is too long which drags along the ground when walking. Consider buying a size smaller than you would normally buy to overcome this issue.

  • "Good Pants Strange Sizing"

    , CEDAR RAPIDS, IA
Pros: Lots of accessible pockets, Durable & Waterproof, Cons: Different cut leads to strange sizing,

I got these pants as a gift in a size L. I had tried them on previously and thought large was right (that's my normal size pant). When I finally got around to using them, I found that I had to exchange them for the XL because the thighs and crotch were a bit tight. I could move fine, but I was worried that too much strain was going to pop a seem (and no, I didn't gain weight). With the bigger size, I just have an issue that the cuffs tend to get in the way of my bindings. Not a big deal, but unfortunate. Overall the build quality seems top notch and they keep me dry all day. Would definitely recommend these, but I would say to try them on before ordering if possible.

  • "Great pants for spring conditions"

    , SAN JOSE, CA
Pros: solid, reliable, lots of colors to chose from, Cons:

This is the second pair of Poachers I've owned and they always do the job. I wore these all spring in Tahoe after wearing my AK's all winter with all the pow dumps. A great pant with plenty of movement for spring park days and still keeps you dry. The Sunchoke color is a brighter, more vibrant color than the photo here shows, really dig it!

what does sig fit mean?
A shopper on Nov 19, 2013
Best Answer: It it Burton's "Signature Fit". Meaning it fits a little baggier and longer than normal clothes. A medium sig fit is a regular medium with added "snowboarding style".
