"Awesome pants, perfect fit"
Bought these for my girlfriend, she is about 5'9 and 120lbs. and the medium fit her perfectly. The black dobby is a nice design with subtle black pinstripes to give it some extra flair. Good waterproofing and weatherproofing, along with a high quality build makes these pants a winner. Definitely would recommend these pants.
These pants were a perfect fit.. when I got them.. in May. I had a medium. I tried them on again recently and.. They didnt fit!! I traded them in for a L and they fit perfectly. They are super warm and comfy. I would recommend these pants to anyone! I also like the vertical stripe design. Buy these pants!!
"If you're into baggy..."
My body type: skinny w/ long legs (not a stick though, I have a little hip action). The medium pants are just long enough, but baggy around my waist, definitely had to adjust- and if I tighten them all the way it makes the fit look kind of funny. I talked to a Burton rep. about getting a smaller size and she told me getting a small might not work because I would loose length. So, if you like the baggy/sig fit look, these are perfect for you. If you don't, I suggest you look at something else. Otherwise, the quality is great, and I really do love all the pockets!
I've worn these pants for 3 seasons now, and they've consistently performed well. I've yet to have a single problem with them.
The snap buttons on the calves are these pants are great for making sure you don't step on the hem of your snow pants and ruin them. My favorite pocket on these pants is the front pocket where you can put your ID or debit card. I don't have to worry about bringing cash or keeping it dry.
"Great and comfy"
These pants felt great and kept me plenty warm. They run a little big in my opinion but all around were perfect.
These were a STEAL when they had that 70% off sale. I got them in the dusty blue and the go great with my 686 jacket to switch up from black. Superwarm and comfy.
"Love at first sight!"
I absolutly love these pants!! They are a perfect fit, not to baggy and not to skinny, they fit perfectly over your boots and they dont restrict your movement at all. Would recommend to anyone to buy these!!
"nice nice pants"
My wife was happy with them. Really, thats a good of a review you can get. It took her a year to find something she liked.
"Good but big!"
I bought the small because i am a size 8 and i wanted a bit of room for layering, but they are way too big! Plus they are so warm that i really didn't need to layer up much underneath. i still wore them up on the mountain though and they were comfortable and warm, really stylish too, i just had to put up with a bit of snow down my undies. I bought the capers colour because it's original but not to flashy.
"Oh for Awesome!!"
I bought these for my wife, her first impressions were they are comfortable, fitted really well round the hips, just a little loose around the waist (but has adjustable straps). This isn't a problem as there is room for layers and a jacket with a powder skirt covers any gaps. Overall an awesome pant.
"Great pants that deliver"
Posting on behalf of my gf who bought these pants when I was ordering my board few weeks ago. She used them for a whole Saturday recently and found them to be without fault. Kept her dry and warm and happy the whole day. The fit was great and allowed room for another layer underneath but there was no real baggy feeling. She will be using these for a long time and you won't be disappointed if you purchase these.
"Super comfy Burton Fly's"
I got these in 'nightfall', the colour is great. They are super comfy, fit great. Only prob is the leg length is not great, I'm quite tall and they are quite short on me, but fit great everywhere else.
Great pants that look very stylish. The Rio Pink is a great colour with my girlfriend is extremely happy with.
"BURTON - no disapointment all all"
A long saga with choosing pants for my wife seems to be over.. Had previously ordered Sessions Zero in XS which we found to be too small around hips. Then ordered these in S - too big. Nearly 2 inches extra in waist (even with adjustments on the inside of the pants), too long. Last week got XS - fit perfect though may not be comfortable with extra layer underneath. Tried them yesterday - all good, BURTON! Very warm so less likely she will need extra thermal layer on the mountain. Quality is great inside out. My wife is 164 cm tall, 52 Kg, slim. It is really worth reading reviews on sizing when browsing. And big thanks to those who put details on sizing and fitting.
I was worried about buying off the net because pants are very individual but these pants are awesome! Recommend to others looking for comfy pants to wear all day, the size allows for that little bit extra layering on those really cold days.
I just wanted to write a quick review about the fit of these pants. I'm going snowboarding for the first time in July, so I have yet to try them on the slopes, but my first impression of them is that they are a great fit! I am a small sized girl (usually size 6 Aus dresses) but wear at least a size bigger for pants (sz 8). I was a bit worried about buying pants online as I had tried different pants on in a store and the sizes varied widely, couldn't do up the botton on size 8 but size 10 were way too baggy. Doesn't help that none of the pants online have a measurement for the bum! Anyway I received these last week and they fit PERFECTLY. Don't grab anywhere, not too tight around the waist or bum. I got it in capers and it goes great with my green roxy bright jacket. At least I'll look like a pro, although my learner snowboarding skills will definitely give me away!
"Awesome Stylish Pants You Won't Regret! "
I purchased this pants in 2010 January, and I love every bit of it! It has a lot of pockets and enough ventilation. Thin, but total waterproof, and has enough layering space for insulation. This is by far the BEST pants I've ever owned and you won't be disappointed!
"Arrived Just As Expected"
Purchased this pair of Burton Fly Womens Pants 2010 for my girlfriend and 2 other friends the other day. Arrive quicker than expected (overseas). At first, she didn't think she was a L but when she tried them on she absolutely loved them! She is now wearing them baggy.
My wife got these and has enjoyed about 5 days on them without any complaints. She got them in amber and loves the color, exactly what she was looking for. When paired with her burton elavation jacket, the possibility of making the pants and jacket a one piece is nice since it keeps the snow out. Her only complaint about the whole system is that when you have to go to the bathroom, it just takes alittle more time. So overall, the pants are great, they fit to size as per the size chart and are highly recommended.
"Awesome fit ..."
I bought these for my girlfriend and she loves them. They have plenty of pockets and she really loves the color (night fall). She wants another pair.
"Great style, great fit!"
I purchased the caper colour, and they look awesome! They go well with my boarding jacket, and they fit true to size. They're not too baggy or too tight, they're just right. Nothing's better then riding with styleeee ;)
"The best pants Evvveer!"
You will love this pant if you're into the EMO style..the pant's not baggy..actually feels like a little smaller..but it does its purpose..I used on a rainy night and it kept me warm and dry! having lots of pockets is a good concept too! overall the Burton Fly's a great buy! I'd highly recommend it!
This would be a nice midweight, lightly insulated pant if it weren't for a couple design anomolies. The pass holder on the side cargo area is sorta useless...the space would be better suited for an actual second cargo pocket. The waist adjuster is on the inside, and while many Burton snowboard pants have this design, it's annoying when the velcro & tags accidentally rub up against your skin. I got the Capers colorway and it's a sweet army fatigue color.
awesome pants, awesome price, wont be disapointed. keeps you dry, looks nice, and feels great.
"love the yellow one"
i love yellow and i was looking for pants like those for months! They fits great, material is soft and nice and of course the price!!! love it
"Practical but Stylish"
picked these up for my gf, she loves them! cool colors, soft on the inside, and keeps her warm with minimal layering. only comment is that she bought these thinking it would be a little baggier in the legs but they weren't. other than the fit is great (she's 5'3 and the length is perfect)
I really liked the sig fit of these pants. Plenty of pockets for your junk. But at 5'6 I found these to be on the short side. Since I couldnt find the tall size I tried them out anyway. They are soo awesome at returns I just returned them and tried another style of Burtons.
"Burton Fly Pants"
Great pair of pants that I got for the gf. At 60% off it was already a steal, never fails to disappoint with their 30 day money adjustment guarantee. Pants are true to size. True waist measurement around 24-25 (in between size). Pants size in S is slightly big, but a good fit was achieved due to the internal elastic velcro bands. If you wear pants by the belly button, get size in actual measurements or towards the smaller size. If you wear it low on the hips, go with the size up and use the internal adjustments. Sig fit as described is slightly looser with room for layering, though it still does hug the curves somewhat. A ton of great features - pockets, interface with Burton jackets, etc.
"Love the Fit!!!"
the pants is a perfect fit... it some how has a natural curve in the pants so its not too tight or not too baggy. very warm with lots of pics which is a plus!!!
i love it! so comfy and fits perfectly!
"good quality but just didn't fit right"
I had the 2009 version of these pants and the waist fit true to size, but the hips and legs were too baggy. I have more of an apple-shaped figure, so I think these pants would be perfect for ladies who find it hard to find pants that fit in the hips without being too big in the waist. I have the opposite problem, so I ended up returning these pants. Bummer because it had a lot of pockets/features.
These pants are great. Really comfortable and keep you nice and toasty. I just wish they were a little less baggy.
"love 'em--fit like a dream"
love these pants. Fit perfectly, easy to walk in on/off mountain.
I love these pants. They colors are awesome and the fit is great. They are good for all weather conditions. I usually wear them with thermals in the severe cold, and in the spring the vents do the job. They also have a lot of pockets so you can stash snacks.
"Great Fit !"
Tried on these pants and I'm around 5'1, they fit like a dream! I'm so lucky the way they ride on me that they don't drag at all on the ground and fit perfectly with my boots over them. Got the curacao color and loved it. I'm just a beginner so I'm always in the cold snow, but these pants are well waterproofed and warm to me. Great investment!
When paired with Burton Expedition thermal bottoms, these were a perfect fit for one layer. Provided enough room between the layers to keep maximum warmth. Love the outside lift pass pocket on the left leg. I'm 5'9 so I might have liked them in the tall since I like my pants to bunch up at the bottom but these just go pass my ankle in height.
"Love the Fit"
I am 5'4, 125 pounds, and the small size fits perfect. I have the waist adjusted right in the middle setting. The insulation seems like the perfect amount to keep you warm, but not overheat you. I though capers was a brown color, but it is kind of green. I love the fit though, so I am keeping the pants
I usually wear a medium in pants, but in these pants the medium and the small fit. I like the fit of the medium better though because they are a little looser in the legs and longer and I like that look. I had to tighten the mediums and I would probably wear a belt like I normally do but I feel like these pants are great! They were really warm and soft to the touch so I think I would be comfortable all day long.
