What is the difference between ski pants and snowboard pants?
Michele S on Dec 19, 2013
Best Answer: I wasn't sure at first either but here are the differences I found...

-Location of ventilation
-Additional butt padding/insulation on board pants
-Additional heavy material on inside lower leg on ski pants (reinforcement due to cuts and damage from ski blade edges)
-Usually more variety with boarder pants

If I am typically a size 6 in regular pants, would I want a Small or Medium in these snowboarding pants?
A shopper on Jan 8, 2014
Best Answer: It will depend on how you like your fit. I am a size ten and usually wear a medium but went large here and am glad I did. I like to wear sweatpants under my snow pants and like to have a little room. Also, the waist tightens up nicely if you are like me and have a wide rear end. If you like a tighter fit, you could probably go with the small but I recommend actually taking your measurements before you decide as snowboard pants fit way differently than regular pants.

what is sig fit?
A shopper on Dec 26, 2013
Best Answer: Burton has this to say about the Burton Canary Snowboard Pant Sig Fit...

Tried-and-true with room for layering, but not over baggy. Leg now slightly narrower without looking pinner.
