Warmth and comfort can allow you to really perform at your best on the mountain, so wear the Burton Cargo Snowboard Pants for Men and tear it up this season. These Burton snowboard pants have mesh lining and fully tapes seams, ensuring that they are waterproof and breathable, providing optimal comfort all day long. These snowboard pants also have very convenient cargo pockets, which add style as well as a handy place to easily store personal items.
Got these pants in True Black Trench Plaid for the season. They fit great and true to size, have plenty of pockets and features. The boot and waist gators are nice, especially the jacket-to-pant interface (can only be used w/ a Burton Jacket). The waterproofing is great, but you'll need to throw on an extra layer or two in the single digit temps
These are probably the best snowboard pants I have ever owned. They are warm, waterproof, breathable and look sick. They are a little long but are still great. They can roll up and button on the bottom so the bottoms do not drag when you have normal shoes on and they have a snowskirt like thing on the bottom that keeps snow from going up your legs. They can also zip to many burton jackets, which is a nice feature
I own 2 pairs and I don't want to ride in anything else. I have a pair that are large and a pair in medium. The largest are a little big, i have a 33 waist and i have to tighten the side adjusters all the way tight. My mediums fit perfect. Waist and length are good and i am 6'-1.
They are super warm too. I only wear a pair of basketball shorts underneath and i never get cold, even on single digit temp days.
I have the air twill plaids from last year and a pair of pinstripe GMP's and I get tons of compliments on them, and for the price you can't beat 'em. I won't buy another pair of pants unless they are cargo's. Hey, if it ain't broke don't fix it
When i first took these pants out i thought that they looked a little small bu then when i tried them on i loved them. The elastic on the inside fits right over my boots and they keep me warm as well. just wear thermals underneath them if its a cold day.
Got the 2010 Burton Cargo pants in red/white/black plaid design. These pants are killer. They're warm and the sig fit look is awesome. They have plenty of pockets and built in air vents on the inside of the legs. I ride all day in these and stay warm the whole time
Great pants for not a lot of money. It comes with all the good stuff. It has the vents and pants to jacket zipper system. I only wish that this worked on other brands and not only Burton. The waterproofing is great. I actually ended up getting 3 pair (two for me and one for my dad). Cant go wrong with these pants.
This is a great pair of pants. It's solid, comfortable, waterproof and it fits me just right. Not too baggy, not too tight, just right. they're breathable enough, not too breathable, nevertheless, i recommend these pants for a great day on the moutain. Goes great with my Burton Slub jacket
I don't own or ride these pants. But having modeled them I can tell you that this pant offers a whole lot of bang for your buck. From its fleece lined pockets to the bellowed cargo pockets. These pockets give you much easier access to them while riding the lift.
wear thermals underneath if it is cold. When wearing thermals and Red Impact shorts underneath the fit is still loose and comfortable. Lots of pockets (zippers on front pockets are great), gater connector for jacket, good thigh vents. Wash instructions are picky: cold water with powder detergent only, hang dry. Also will probably need to spray on water proofer after a number of washings
These have a lot of pockets and they are double layered made to be baggy pants, if you want an amazing quality pair of pants i suggest these, i tried them on and they were long because im short but for a taller person they will fit just right and still be baggy if thats the fit you lik
I have now used these pants for around 30 days. No rips, all the seams are in place, and I am still completely dry in them. Do their job like any good snowboarding pant should. Great value for the price. I have them in chlorophyll...look great and slightly brighter than the picture
I have had a pair of these pants since 2000. I got a new pair only because they wore out where they got stepped on, but I am keeping them for a spair. Lasted 10 years of riding in the trees. Great pants at any price
I really like these pants, but the inseam is way too short, unless you wear them hanging completely off your butt?!? I'm pretty big and need a medium waist and a tall length. The Burton site was completely sold out of the talls, so I ordered and got a great price[...]. Way better than going through Burton direct. Even worse, is the fact that...going up a size only gives you an extra inch in the length, but adds 2-4 inches around. So, us tall guys with an athletic build are out of luck! You'd think Burton would get a clue when they make these in a tall length and they all sell out on their site, but they have plenty of the regulars left...hmmmmm. Love 'em, but wish they were longer
In my experience with these snow pants, I can honestly say these feel perfect. I have used these every single weekend no matter what i am doing.I have used them snowblowing, snowboarding and cross country skiing. I love how much they wick the water away. They never loose their tight fit and they are very war
After months of hunting for snowboard pants, I eventually gave up and went with the Burton cargos in Short Xl. The quality is amazing but I felt the fit was a bit baggy and a little longer than I had hoped. With that said, I friggin love these pants! The ventilation system kept the goods in a nice climate on hot days and keep water out on the wetter days. of all the pants I've tried, these are my absolute favs
Boyfriend loves these pants. Said they are super comfortable... he continues to wear them after boarding... and sometimes on days when he is not boarding. He is a beginner and says these pants stay dry, even on a slushy day, when he was sitting/falling. He has worn them in cold weather without thermals and was still warm. He definitely is utilizing the leg vents on the hotter spring days. He has the burlap color and loves it.
Just got these in the mail and took them up for a slushy day. They kept me warm and dry without any underlayers. They were comfortable and looked great. My only complaint with these was that they were a bit too long and while walking were dragging on the ground. I folded the bottoms up while walking on the cement. All in all these are the best pants I own and will be rocking them quite a bit in the future.
These are awesome pants, i tried these pants out for the first time on a very sunny day, and spent a lot of time on my bum onto of wet snow and these pants stayed dry the whole day. they are very warm and the fit feels like the pants are made just for me. i would recommend these pants to anyone who wants the perfect pants without dropping a lot of coin
Great pants! Has pockets for all your needs. Keeps you dry and it strikes a very good balance of warmth and comfort. It's not super hot not terribly cold. Great for most days. The sig fit still has enough room for pants if you really need to wear an extra layer of warmth. The only bad thing is snow might be trying to creepy up those back pockets which if I recall correctly are velcro downs. But just as long as you don't wipe out super hard and slide down the mountain for about a good 20 feet like I did you should be fine. I just thought I should include something that might be a con for the most chosey (if thats even a word) of people.
Really light weight, warm and dry pants! Rocked them in NZ on super sunny days, and in aus on super wet windy cold days! Kept me dry/warm/cool whenever i needed to be! Love that i could also buy a size up (normally wear medium) and adjust the waist down for a baggy loo
Out of all the pants I've owned, these are my favorite. If you like your pants baggy and with lots of room in the legs, these are the pants for you. There is plenty of pocket room for your belongings and they are completely waterproof. The venting slits in the inner thighs are great for a warm spring day. The only think you may want to consider is that they arent insulated so it can get cold when the temperature drops
got this for really cheap from a local shop. the brown is darker than the picture, for those interested in the mocha. the length is a bit long, but fits fine with boots on. i just have to hike up my pants when im bare foot or with shoes on, or just let it drag
Best pair of snowboard pants I've owned yet! They are made well, affordable and durable. Definitely better then my pair of foursquare convertible pants. I use my second layer from the foursquare with my burton pants and a baselayer on extra cold days.
These pants are great- they're pretty thick, so not worried about ripping, and it helps keep heat in and water out very well. Vents if you get too warm. Great selection of pockets. The button to hold the bottoms up when you're walking around so they don't drag is a nice touch.
So I ordered these in light camo, thought I was getting the normal camo ones (mosaic martini I believe), and when I got these in I was hesitant. Tried them on and realized they actually look pretty sweet with all the bright colors. Everyone who I talk to on the mountain loves them as well
I bought the Burton Cargo Longs, I noticed their were two different models for these pants and got the regular ones in Large but they were too short. Im tall and skinny, so the medium longs were perfect. Just a little too baggy down below, but overall these are one of my favorite pants
I can't believe that these are the low cost pants from Burton. Come'on! They fit me perfectly. They are warm, dry (always, even if you are a beginner) & cool design. In addition, the zip allows you to connect with your Burton or Analog jacket, which is very comfortable and warm also.
Got the 2010 Burton Cargo Pants in Houndstooth Camo - White, good fit, tight enough in the waist with plenty of room in the legs to fit over boots and not impede movement. Multiple pockets secured with Velcro or zips. Has vents which will be important when trekking or on the warmer days. Has the waist zipper to attach to Burton jackets - can be a pain to initiate the zippering but is a blessing on the slopes to stop ice entering ur crack. two thumbs up and one warm crac
These are awesome pants for those who like riding dirty. If you're more of the ski-racer, they probably wont be for you. They run big. I'm normally a small, and I wear a small in these and they fit very well but require a belt. Super comfortable, mesh lining, plenty of handy pockets, and entirely waterproof. They've thought of everything with this pant down to the lining hook that hooks onto the strings of your boot to keep them from coming up, or getting water in your boots/socks/undergarment.
I would recommend for people who is new to snowboard or people who is looking for affordable pant with okay quality. This pants will not get any snow in even once i have fail in a trick once and roll over a few times and my bottom parts still dry. also i would say it's a good gift for people to buy..because the price and fashion doesnt looks cheap at all
I purchased these as a replacement for my 2010 burton poacher pants, which were a much more slim fitting pant. Same as the poachers, ans perhaps all burton pants, the legs are too long and will require you to roll them up so they don't fall past your boots. What I do is I just fold the elastic band over the excess pant and it works fine. Note that 2010 is the last year of the jacket to pant zip package. Going forward it's the crappy snaps which don't help nearly as much in keeping the snow out of your butt. Overall, I'm really pleased with these pants and I'm sad that there's no more zip-to-pant features going forward for when I need to replace these in a few seasons
Probably the best coloured pants ive ever seen, the chlorophyll looks crazy on the mountain and stands out well, they hold up well when sitting on the snow, so no cold bum here, and the pockets are strong, sturdy and safe, i trust them with my phone no problems, fit great with just the right amount of bagginess so you look great without being ridiculous! i absolutely love these and want to wear them to work and when sitting at home on the couch. There's a reason why these are ranked so highly
I normally wear size 33x34 pants. I was nervous if a medium would be long enough or too tight or if I went with large if it would be too big around the waist. The mediums fit perfectly all around the leg, but another inch in length wouldn't hurt. Compliments from random people the first few times out. I like the neutral colors that go with about anything. However, sometimes I wish I had more subtle design to wear in public places other than the slope. Great quality from Burton as usual and the pants were light, kept me dry, and kept me warm in 20 degree weather. But I do wear thin sweatpants underneath. Thanks for the awesome price too
great pants, wore them for the snowboadcross world cup. stayed warm at 6 a.m. vented to cool at 12. worked for a week like that. people eventually asked what I was wearing cause some were uncomfortable out there. I rode the hell out of these pants after that and they still look great.
WOw, after buying one of these, there is no other pant features that you could possibly want in a snowboard pant. Comes with everything you need and nothing you dont. The pants come with enough pockets to carry just about everything you could need for a day on the slopes. there are two large cargo pockets that can hold anything you want. It is comfortable, and does a great job at keeping you warm and dry. Overall great buy!
These pants are awesome. Some people might not like the camo style, but match it with a white, green, or camo jacket and you will be amazed how awesome the combo looks. I get compliments on these pants from people just about every time I go to the slopes. Even old people seem to like the design. Get them, and rock them! :
These pants have everything you could possible want in a pant. There warm, look nice, fit well, and have lots of awesome little features that make them worth every penny. I would recommend these to anyone looking to get some amazing pants at a great price.
Great pants, kept me dry all day even in the slush at the end of the day. Size was big, the size chart says XL but the L fitted better. Wouldn't mind an external pass pocket just for ease. I got these in Mocha and could not be happier with their performance
These pants are brilliant value on sale, They look awesome (design & fit), they are tough and they get the job done. Probably not the warmest pair I own but they are more than adequate for your avg day on the mountain.
I love the short version of these cargos. Bought the reg one this year only to discover how baggy they are. Will still wear them but the size is just a bit overkill imo. Downsize if you dont wanna ride around with super baggy fitting pants around the bottom of your bum!
This is my second purchase of these pants because of how good they are. On a sunny day you can wear them with nothing but underwear and you will be good. Most days some thermals underneath are the go. If you get too hot then just open up the vents on the inside of the legs... as you cool down, zip them up!
Stitching is good, the size may be on the bigger side of things, but I always wear a belt so that takes up any slack around the hips
I bought these pants about a week ago. I tried them out yesterday, and they were great. The fit is nice an loose and I never felt restricted by them. They have a really good feel to them and are very comfortable. Another thing that I really like is all the pockets. There is a pocket for everything in these pants. It was pretty cold, and the pants aren't as insulated a my others so I think I'm going to have to get a thicker base layer to wear under them. I ordered them in BLACK from this website. It turns out they are not black, but rather what Burton calls Black Denim, (a grey color). I wanted to write that so others aren't mistaken like I was. I like the color none the less and am happy with my new pants.
This is a super steezy pant, great for sessions in the park or straight up groomer runs. They keep you warm and keep the snow out.. For a bit. It only has like 5-8k waterproofing, so digging deep in powder will have these pants soaked. If your looking for a pant to go into the pow with, i wouldn't recommend these, but they are just right for arider on a budget or someone trying to find a pant to rock the park i
Pants are nice just check your fit, it is hard to nail it down just right without trying them on...I am 6'1 200, and bought a large and they were still baggy. But I think the med would have been too short so, its a give take. I'd buy them again
These pants are tough to beat for the price. The incorporated waist gaiter zipper systems works well with a jacket that has this system.
The fit is a bit on the large size, but I knew that from other reviews. So I wasn't surprised. I'm 5'8 and 165 lbs. I normally wear a 32 pant and have a little extra room. I went with the size small and found they fit perfectly. The length is perfect too
I loved my burton cargos. Kept me very dry and were extremely warm and comfortable, although you probably need a layer under them in colder weawther. The legs were a bit too long though for me and they ended up getting shredded up a from me stepping on them in the parking lots/during lunch. If they fit you, they're great and the price is very reasonable
I absolutely love these pants! I bought the White Shadow Box Large and they fit and look great. Even with my bulky protection shorts underneath they still fit well enough to not inhibit my movement at all. The waterproofing is great so far and I look forward to testing it for a long time to come. The only thing that worries me is that by the time I wear them out, Burton probably won't make them anymore. I should have bought two pair
Great pants, I had some issues with some of my other snowboard pants where the water would get through the weatherproofing. But the Burton cargo's 10k weatherproof rating did the job. I haven't had issues with wet behinds or such since using these pants.
the only down side is the sizing guide was a bit misleading and the size I purchased fit a bit too large, but that's not too much of a big issue. Before buying these pants I do suggest trying them on in the stores though!
For the price you pay these pants are great. I was a bit abrehensive about buying them but my old pants died and being close to the end of the month thought I'd try a more economical approach, but it turned out a great buy. They do fit a little baggier than I am used too but as a recent snowboard convert it goes with the territory.
These are one of my mist favourite pairs of boarding pants, been using these for a few seasons now and love the fact that they are so durable and lightweight compared to some of the other pants out there on the market. Plus they come in a wide range of styles and designs while being reasonably priced. Deffinetly the pick of the crop. Great value for money.
Since the Cargo Tall size L was out of stock, I ordered the Cargo Normal size pants in XL. The length of the XL is okay but he's too big around the waist for a tall guy with a small waist like me. So I wear these pants with a belt, works fine by me. Next time I would certainly go for a pants with a tall size.
Overall a good pants: warm, dry & comfy! And CHEAP Thanks to you!
Nice pants for the money. Plenty of room so you aren't restricted. They stay dry for the day unless you are sitting in heavy wet snow for extended time. This is my third pair of cargos and have never felt the need to spend anymore on a pair of pants.
These pants are wonderful. I love the baggy fit that they have and how they can zip to a Burton Jacket. That is a wonderful design feature. These pants are very warm and I have never been cold in them. They are also pretty water proof. My butt is never cold or wet!!
I love the cargo's. Sure they are not gore, but they are great durable pants. A nice change from the DS pants I have been rocking for some time. Decent fit, but I had to buy XL (bit big for my waste) to fit the length
i'm 6ft 215 lbs. couldn't decide between L and XL for this pant, but i'm glad i chose L. i have worn the waist adjusted all the way big for the season, but as i shred and lose a little weight, i have some room to adjust the waste smaller now. the legs are a bit long on me, but the cargos have a nifty little strap that lets you roll the legs up and keep them rolled up when you are walking around the base area/parking lot. pretty handy.
the pants are tough. i have used and abused mine this season. been out 26 times so far. i have fallen and slid around in ice, washed the pants countless times, they still continue to hold up well. interestingly, i somehow managed to put a couple of small pinpoint holes in the front of my thigh on the right pant leg. i have kept an eye on the holes through wash and use after wash and use and the holes have not gotten bigger or spread.
in the rainy snow the pants tend to soak through the first layer but it never gets through to your skin. my only real complaint is that pants and jackets should interface universally, and it seems like if anyone was gonna set the standard it should be the forward-thinking people at Burton. no matter what i try, i just can't get the zipper on the pants to lock in to the buttons on my jacket.
I got the Bright White Camo and it looks great. The fit is great as well. The only gripe I have about these pants are the little metal hooks on the leg gaiters. I would prefer not to have those hooks on the gaiter.
They can also zip to many burton jackets, which is a nice feature.
These pants were a great buy! I was able to get them for pretty cheap during black friday and I would say they're worth it! The fit is definitely really baggy. I'm a 32 inch waist and I went with the small cause Im only 5'8. If you're between a 30-33 inch waist and from like 5'6 - 5'10. I suggest the small.
I ordered these pants and returned them and ended up with the 686 Smarty Cargos. They were both quality, but the 686 had the removable liner for greater flexibility when you are east coast versus west coast mountains
I love my cargos. They fit well, and can hold up to several seasons. They have plenty of deep pockets for all of my gear and dont have an overly baggy look to them. If you want just a great shell, and not all of the bells and whistles of the more expense models, go with this one.
A very simple Cargo pant by Burton. I have the Mocha version and there's a large pocket on the left leg that displays the burton logo which is pretty cool. It's a little baggier fit but protects well against water. It's simple, comfortable, and works. 7/10 star
I bought this pants for my husband. He is 6'4 and about 220 Ibs. The pants fit right around the waist and leave 1-2 for layers. They are a little bit long. He loves the vents of the pants. There are tons of pockets for your stuff.
We still have to try that on the slope next season to see how warm they are.
These pants do their job as they supposed to. Zippers for ventilation are great when weather gets warm or when you get super active and start sweating - they help a lot . Pants can be zipped to Burton Jacket via zipper and clips- great idea for keeping snow out of your waist. Burton gave a thought about tall guys out there. I am 6'2 and size Large Tall fits just right. The only downgrade is that tall inseam is not available for pants with bright colors. Had to go for mocha one. Adjustable Velcro waist is good too for those not wearing belt.
These pants are great, i'm still new to boarding so these are the only pair i have tried, so i can't really compare to anything else. The Burton Cargo keeps me warm, looks great and has plenty of pockets. I'm not sure if other pants have this, but the Cooling vents around you thigh and groin area is the best.
only problem i had with these is that it's a bit bigger then i had expected it to be.
I bought these late last season at a substantial discount. These are my first Burton pants (usually Northface), so take my sizing opinion with a grain of salt. I found the cut to be a bit too baggy for my taste and the pants fit slightly larger than what I expected. Waterproofing could also be better
pretty awesome pair of Pants- got them at a great price and they fit well. I'm a narrower guy so i had to max out the adjustment straps but they fit well now, esp with my Jammies underneath everything. The problem is, they are so different, that you cant help but notice other people with the same print pants and or jacket when you are up on the slopes. Talk about Stolen Thunder.
Another thing, don't try to schooch down an unfinished wooden bench with these on. SPLINTERS
Picked up these pants on sale and love the fit and the thought that Burton put into the design. I'm referring to the zip system for the jackets and pants, the cuff straps and flash pass pocket. Details that perfect the pants
Every year I have a pair of Burton Cargos. They are quality pants that hold up for an entire season of abuse. I do find them baggy, so order true to size for a baggy fit. The length is quite long, so for people with short inseams I recommend getting a shorter pair of pants or invest in a damn good belt. Only sign of wear is the cuff at the bottom due to scraping when walking. Arse and knees are holding up well
i've used these pants several times, i believe i have a pair from last year maybe. they have worked well, seem to run true to size, as far as i can tell. the waterproofing is good at first, but over time, just like most pants, loses its effectiveness. just get some waterproofing spray i guess. good value
From the adjustable waist, to the two way fly zipper, double hook and loop closure rear pockets, nice cargo, pockets with the sweetest pass pocket on the left cargo pocket for fast lift loading the articulation on the knees and the sweet clip on rubber waist gaiter that is amazing on you boots. Did I mention waterproof and really warm? These keep you on the mountain riding, not in the lodge trying to warm back up! Warm on the lift chair too! A
As you'd expect from Burton, these pants are good quality, and have all the basic features you need, with adequate waterproofing. Great first pants, and great for the majority of weather conditions. Might need something a little more waterproof if wet or super-cold conditions.
"Not GoreTex level dryness, but super-comfortable"
These pants are great, but I wish they had the exact same cut with GoreTex material. In the PNW, only try to wear them on a day where you're not going to be doing a lot of sitting, or you could easily fall victim to wetbutt syndrome. But you can't really hold that against the pants; for the price level that they're at, I'd be quite happy with them
These pants are great, fit perfect, great colors, and for the money you probably can't beat them. The negative side is they are the lowest on the Burton totem pole. If your a real rider or spend a lot of time in real cold weather, I would pony up for the Freemont or any pant that is a level up. These pants are great for warm April days though, so not bad to keep a pair on hand
I dont typically buy the big B products, but i got a continuum down jacket last year and it was really sweet, so i thought i try the pants as abackup to my 686's, Looking at the sizing chart the large seemed short, so i went with an extra large and they were huge...but i will still wear em, they seem solid enough
These pants lasted me less than half a season before my buddy pointed out that the main belt loop in back was flapping around in the wind. Upon inspection, the seam between the belt loop, and two sections had come undone, leaving a rather large hole and a portion of my derriere exposed. I'd stitch it back up myself but i'm not sure if any specific waterproofing thread/technique is required.
They are also extremely long, I always get the same size and these are the only ones that drag on the ground when I walk so the bottom heal portion is pretty torn up at this point
As soon as I got these pants in the mail I was so excited, I tried them on and wow did they fit amazingly. I was so eager to try them on the sloaps that I went up the next day. Everything was going well with these pants until I sat down in the snow; I immediately knew that these weren?__t a step up from my other snowboard pants. If you're looking to get a pair of pants that will keep you warm all day these are not for you. These pants are just the shell; you are going to need a GOOD set of thermals underneath. Overall you get what you pay for, spend a little bit more and get some better ones
I'm not sure if its just my pair, but particulary on powder days the rear pockets seem to let in snow which makes for a wet arse, i dont use the pockets so ill probably sew them up so if u buy these, be cautious and check the velcro
