Good Jacket
This is just a shell jacket, so you would want to have some layers under it. As someone else mentioned, the sleeve and jacket length is just right, but around the chest and waist, it's very slim.

Great for the price
Cool lookin jacket. No I insulation like I'm accustomed to but actually think I rather prefer to add my own insulation. Zippers are sturdy, pockets keep dry, jacket to pants clips work well. Only complaint is that it doesn't have wrist gaiters. Other than that I have no complaints after a full season of use and it seems like it will hold up for many more.

Not that great
I just got this in this jacket today and it looks awesome. I love the design of the pockets. I think the best feature on this is the media player pocket. It is hidden right by the zipper under the velcro fold so you can't even see it. The jacket isn't warm at all. I put it on and stood outside for like 10mins and it barely kept me warm. The fit was also very bad. The sleeve length was perfect and so was the overall length of the jacket. In the chest area it was to tight. If you wear a large I suggest getting a XL.

Hi. Will this coat work for skiing as well as boarding.? Very cold weather expected, about 2 degrees. Thanks

Best Answer: Hey Jackie!
This Burton TWC Transmission Jacket would work just fine for skiing. Burton's jackets have great features like snow skirts and wrist gaskets along with well designed pockets that allow skiing/ boarding to be comfortable and fun. This jacket 10,000mm waterproofing which will keep you dry in all but extremely wet snow. Be aware, though, that this jacket is only lightly insulated and is designed to be worn with layers underneath... or used with higher levels of activity.
